Interior LED's

I bought a set of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/C300-...item3f0407dd7f
They look great but I can't work out how to replace the Map light bulbs in the rear view mirror.
Anyone done this before?

I'm very glad you started this thread. I'd like to know, too. While we're at it, how about getting to the front map lights?

Edit: Oh wait. I meant the larger housings on each side of the ceiling-mounted controls.

Aren't the map lights in the rear view mirror already LEDs?

I have replaced all of the interior lights except for the lights in rear view mirror. The factory map lights still look a little yellow compared to new ones I was supplied new map LED'S with the set I bought. Is there a way to replace them or am I best just leaving them so I don't damage anything.

I wouldn't mess with them. Besides, there not on when the interior lights are, so no one will notice the difference. My interior LEDs match the OEM mirror LEDs perfectly.. I got mine from IJDMTOY.com

Sad/funny thing. I ordered a set. After I saw the email I had an EPIC facepalm moment. BlueAcc333 was a member who was banned on these forums for trying to sell without sponsorship. Lets hope the lights are good at least.

I just installed them today. It was a MAJOR pain in the butt getting out the front dome lights and rear light housing. I chipped some plastic on the rear one and cut a small 2mm-ish portion of cloth cuz my screwdriver was too sharp...(yes I used a towel but the screwdriver ended up cutting through the towel). Basically they're pretty nice overall but I have a few minor gripes. The footwell lights flicker (as in they come on for two seconds then turn off for 5 seconds then repeat) when driving without headlights on, the rear dome/festoon bulb looks slightly greener than all the other bulbs.

I also had to cut the plastic in rear light housing to fit bulb in. I have since found out you can separate it.
If the footwell lights are flickering you have put the wrong bulbs in. You need to use the flat bulbs for footwell. I had the same problem but all fixed now

No I'm more than sure I put the right ones in. The ones that came in the plastic wrap correct? They were labeled as footwell lights when I took em out.

Hey I was wondering, for your footwell lights, do they flicker at night when you have the heater on and blowing only towards your feet with the botton vents? I noticed that today when I turned on the heater and had the bottom vents blowing air only that the lights would flicker on and off again as I mentioned above.... Not a huge issue but I was just wondering if it was only me.

I haven't used the heater since I've owned the car. It's to hot over here at moment. Maybe pull the led's out and turn them around.
I bought some reverse led's off the same seller, they look awesome bit give error codes when reverse is selected. No problems any other time though.
