Lumbar Support - Do you really use it?
Do you think it makes a difference toward your driving comfortability? I can barely feel the difference...

I imagine those with a wide back would make sure the bolsters are open to their fullest and skinny drivers would really benefit from closing them up some.
I barely use the lumbar support because its uncomfortable for me.
These seats are great.

In a comparison of both my E63 and C63, I can say that I use the lubar, side bolster and all, in my E63 to make the seat position more comfortable. I don't use it in my C63 as the seats are already tight as is. But when both seats are adjusted, their very comfortable.

Trouble with those lumbar/side bolster controls is this. I do eventually manage to get a setting that seems comfortable but then after a couple of hours at the steering my back is all but gone. If on the other hand I set everything wide open, all is well even after several hours at the wheel. So, do we need those controls?
Absolutely...! For the same reason I need those conditioned air vents and up-spec armrest at the back (Who gets chauffeur driven in an AMG?), impressive 19-inch rims (which bend at the first pothole they encounter), and mobile phone compartments with lovely damped action (which neither of my phones fits into). For the same reason I need the phenomenal acceleration of the beast and the truly Wagnarian voice it develops once it has warmed up. You see, I like the understated nature of the AMG, but deep down inside, like most owners, I want the world to know the wolf not the sheep...!

Don't forget to use the headrest button in the side door, you can really tweak the seat with it. Very though to actually control since its very small but its a great feature.

No try it, the headrest obviously doesn't move, but that button does allow a lot of seat tweaking, possibly one of the most hidden things in this car. Found it very useful to tweak the seat at shoulder height.

There is really no need to adjust them more than once. Once you get comfortable with the initial seting you shouldn't play with it any more. My wife is much shorter than me and she has her memory setup and I have mine.
If you feel comfortable after your initial seat adjustment there is no need to mess with it no more.
