I got my 1080HD for $229 9 months ago...heres a 960HD one for 180 since for many the 1080 mode is choppy anyways. I also heard Costco has <200 deals. Only trying to be fair to the members

I can sell that one for $180.00 as well. That unit actually retails for $179.00. I know that it is confusing but there are many Go Pro cameras that are available and they all offer different options at different price ranges.

Take a look at the GoPro website, you will see the HD HERO960 listed at $179.00. I am selling the GoPro motorsports hero which RETAILS for $299.00. I am pretty sure I am selling it at a very very reasonable price. I am sure that there may be someone that has bought 200 of them that can sell it cheaper than I can but I am listing them for way below what every major internet retailer I compared my price to before I posted this is selling it for. Thanks for pointing out the price but I think I am selling something at a terrific value but I hope that people compare prices to make sure that I am not trying to gouge them. I looked at the Costco version a few weeks ago, IIRC it doesn't come with a suction cup mount so RPM's price is competitive/low (accounting for the additional cost of the mount). Plus no sales tax shipped out of NY. I will order one next week, perhaps a second one also as a gift.

is there an option to add the snowboard helmut mount?

I'm sure there is but I am not 100% familiar with snowboard helmets but if you check out the go pro web site you can see the optional mounts.

If you buy the GoPro, go to they're website or google them for mounts. There are tons of different options out there and they're fairly cheap.
