Quote: What is the deal with everybody worried about the snow? How do you all get around in this country for 3 months a year? This is a great deal- Sack up boys! I have way more torque than all you 63 guys and I drive around on winter tires just fine.
Some of them don't have winter tires or not insured and some just don't have time cause of work, which is totally understandable.

Quote: Man $649 is such a good deal and hard to pass on. This is an IF question, but what IF I pay up front and you come in April to tune it for me?
If everyone wants to prepay and move the date to March, I'm cool with that. I can't agree to this unless we are all on the same page. It wouldn't be feasible to travel for one or two guys.

Let me know soon guys.....tickets will be expensive!

Props to Jerry for trying to accommodate all of us... it's very nice of you & what a great deal!! Congratulations for your new coming baby... so I understand your busy schedule this spring.

On the other hand, it's too bad your special is happening during our snow season... pre-payment is a nice option, but March might still be early as snow normally start to melt in April... mother nature is too unpredictable at the end of winter... hehehe!

Although it might still be a good option for ppl in Toronto as they are local, but might be a gamble for me who has to drive 4 hours to meet you.

Thanks for the reply Jerry. I am good on your proposed date - Jan. 22, 2011 but we only have three customers (including me), and I agree that it doesn't make sense to fly up just to tune three guys. This is why I asked about prepay because there's about three or four members (that would be 7 customers total) who wants it in late spring, just helping other members out.

This question is to KRL_CLS: Now if Magnus Motorsports hosts this event, would they be able to bring in some customers? Also, Magnus Motorsports is located in Concord and that's out of Toronto. I was really hoping to be in GTA (Greater Toronto Area).

Magnus is at Keele and Rutherford about 30 mins from downtown toronto. It's the same as missisauga or Scarborough. I am trying to work something out with Magnus and hope to report back shortly.

Just remember the last 2 weeks of march were slammed with the Texas Mile.

Depending on the shop that might be possible. Jerry can definately ship out or hand carry a pulley for you.

Thats the plan.

Very. And you will definately feel it. If you don't we will refund you on the spot.

Just wondering how this affects the warranty on our cars? So long as it doesnt effect the warranty on my car I am totally in for $649.

It affects the warranty if they figure it out. From what I've been told, there is a seal on the ecu. If you take it out, you break the seal, and the dealership knows you screwed around.

Yes, if you don't feel the difference, then I'll refund you and flash the car back to stock.

Im 25, this is my first car worth more than 25K that I was able to purchase myself and I'm a little hesitant to mess with it because I probably would not be able to afford a rehaul on my engine in case something goes wrong.

Jerry I was wondering if its true that their is a seal on the ECU that can determine weather or not it has been tampered with. I know you say it can be reversed but even if reversing it causes the warranty to be void I'm a bit hesitant, BUT I REALLY WANT TO DO IT!!

Yes, the ECU is sealed shut.

There is a small chance that they will be able to tell it was opened. However, you can heat it up and be careful when opening it and it will look stock.

The key is flashing it back to stock before you visit the dealer for any warranty work related to the motor.

So do we have any agreement on date and place yet? Are we pushing this off till the spring and prepaying or doing it end of Jan?

For anybody hesitant, I can say that Jerry's tuning helped turn my car into a monster. I can't wait to Dyno tune it to get it dialed in. His customer service is fantastic. I have sent my ECU back to Katy Texas to 3 times now and he always turned it back around int 1 day. You C63 guys should see a great Jump in power and responsiveness, and for 55'ers with pulleys..hold on to your *** hats! I am looking forward to finally meeting the man in person and buying him a beer!
