Eurocharged 63 AMG Flash - TORONTO - Pending Date

Hello:

Just contacted Jerry @ Eurocharged and he's willing to fly up to Toronto to tune our cars, but he needs 5 customers (including me). The price will be $649.99 and I think it is hell of a deal that gains your car 50 + HP, if you ask me.

So anyone whose from the Ontario area and owns a 63 AMG, drive up/down to Toronto and Jerry will tune your car(s). Any day after January 4th, 2011 would be great since I'll be flying back to Toronto from Cuba.

So if your interested, please add your name here:

1. Swiftler - C63 AMG
2.
3.

Put me on the list... only if it's during Spring time though... cuz my car is in storage & out of insurance for the winter.

I thought about it, but I would prefer to test drive the car right after the tune to make sure everything is fine... or else I would have to ship it out to you in the US again.

After January 4th, technically it is Spring lol. But seriously if you drive civilized to Toronto, I think it'll be fine. I can sent you the address and you just follow your navi. Rarely do you see a tuner from states willing to fly up to Toronto and not to mention the fantastic deal that you might not be getting in Spring (April & May).

And even if you get a ticket driving without insurance (knock on wood but I doubt it if you drive civilized) and you'll be getting $250 ticket (no points) which most definitely you can fight it off, if you hire X-Copper (100% win).

Really? Really?? Who drives an $80k CAD car w/o insurance and has the primary concern of a ticket? Did you happen to consider the possibility of a significant accident on his 900km round-trip commute (in the heart of winter, no less)??

Your right although I can't tell how the weather in Ontario is like and the fact that I had too much liquor in this resort.

Hahaha... I was thinking the exact same thing... I'm not worry about getting a ticket... more about getting into an accident driving on my summer tires for 900km round trip with insurance or not.

I'm sitting on the fence on this one, but will give a more solid answer depending on timing. I would much rather this be in spring (ie. late April or so). My schedule is very busy throughout January through March, so I don't think timing would work. Come springtime it'd be a lot easier.

Plus, I dd this car in winter, and it doesn't need more power for this season!

Guys - My wife is expecting in March and I won't be doing any travel a few weeks before the due date and at least 2 months after the baby is born.

I propose Saturday - 1/22/2011. I would fly in Friday morning and leave Sunday.

Hey Jerry,

We can finally do a dyno tune on the car!. I am sure I could set something up a Magnus Motorsports with the Dyno there. So
1. I am in
2. I can get this to be a dyno tune day at one of the most respected shops in Toronto.

Pete

I'm out guys. Thanks for organizing, but January is a write-off for me.

Roswell, maybe we can try to organize something in the spring.

See, the problem is that everyone wants the holiday pricing. The holiday pricing cannot be held until the snow melts.

If we do it next month (prepayment required), the tune is $649.

If we wait until the snow melts, it will be the retail price. $1299.

If you're ok with paying the retail price, I'll fly back up in April and take care of the two of you.

Pete - Let me know tomorrow if Magnus will host the event. If they say yes, then I will book my travel and get payment from everyone!

Man $649 is such a good deal and hard to pass on. This is an IF question, but what IF I pay up front and you come in April to tune it for me?

What is the deal with everybody worried about the snow? How do you all get around in this country for 3 months a year? This is a great deal- Sack up boys! I have way more torque than all you 63 guys and I drive around on winter tires just fine.
