Help yea!!! They help allot! Wheres the official rules of this thing?
Sure if you want spoke to mthis he will come help.. Love to find a sponsor or 2 to help with expences but I would represent! Can't promise victory but... It's a mod for mod thing right? I wouldn't go up next to a turbo m3 with 150 shot?

You should be fine on that road course, if it's the same layout (as seen on the link above) you will be running. The way the course is set up, it actually favors the C63 over the M3 (N/A). If the M3 is SC'd and knows how to drive, it's going to be a little more difficult. As long as you have an LSD, you'll have the advantage using your torque coming out of the relative slow turns.

I'll contact the website and see what they say.
You don't have to win if you end up participating. It's all for fun anyway. I doubt most of us are hung up on the whole MB vs BMW thing. Fast cars competing is fun.

I just got off the phone with Tatorr he confirmed that he will be representing MBWorld in The Forum Wars. Thanks to all for nominating. And I wish you good luck. Thanks, Paul.

OK guys. We want this to be a fair fight, we are not playing favorites. If you or another member has a more competitive car, please step forward with a firm commitment to participate ASAP.

dodger63- Do you think you could take this car down? I am not doubting you car or your skill but 10.8 1/4 miles seems more fair than just a C63 with a tune vs. a 650hp MONSTER!

Quote from organizer:
"I have reached out to Skierman64 to see if he can make it. So far there has been very little response from the C63 guys. Regarding mods, the idea is that the cars do not need to be stock, but that the cars are a close match in power to weight. I understand that this may require some different mods to get there. Tires need to be utqg 140 or above."
Bear in mind that the rules will not allow drag radials. For that matter the Proxe R888's on my track wheels would not be eligible either. Whoever steps up will need some fresh rubber such as RE-11's or Star Specs

I nominated Dodger63 on the forum wars web site last week. Why didn't they take his nomination??
If they are going to restict the tires etc... that we can use its not worth the trip. They can't allow a 650HP M3 and ask us to send a N/A car to compete and expect us to use no drag radials or track rated tires?? What kind of competition is this?? REALLY??
You race 1/4 mile you use drag radials. You road race you use "R" rated track tires.

I've been asking for rules.. I don't no why there aren't any or no one is telling me were they are.. I'll go I'll race but we need a level playing field. Your right N/A vs F/I doesn't seem fair unless we use drags I thought we could...

Dodger....
You will walk on that M3....even if he has anthing close to a "claimed" 650 horse....with no drag radials it will go nowhere
The fastest of the fastest Supercharged M3's on dragtimes.com (just as a reference point) is running a best of 10.80's and the blower will not give it an advantage on the roadcourse against you....
I have faith in you broseph!
What kind of car is that in the background....oh.....it's the losing kind

Idk.. Just let me no.. With all things equal I'm not that worried.. I don't no if either car can get down the track without some sticky tire.. I'm ready to represent!!
