M3 vs. C63 - TV Shoot (Texas)
Did you guys see this? Can anyone compete? I am in Cali and can't do it, but we need to smoke the M3.

Talk is cheap if you can’t bring it behind the wheel. You’ve seen the episodes of The Forum Wars presented by Royal Purple, and you’ve thought, “I could do better than that!” Here’s your chance, as recruiting is set to begin for The Forum Wars Season 2.
Would you like to represent MBWorld on the track in your C63? Are you willing and able to competitively run a ¼ mile drag race, autocross style road course and a 0-100-0 competition against an M3 from M3Post? We want you to compete on The Forum Wars Season 2 that will be filmed in Houston, Texas at the Royal Purple Raceway the weekend of Jan. 8, 2011.
Racers and fans of the inaugural season of The Forum Wars will experience better competition as the new season will include:
· ¼ mile NHRA drag strip
· Improved road course design
· 0-100-0 racing
· Cars and drivers nominated and approved by the forums
· Additional track time for the drivers
· More evenly matched vehicles with similar mods and tires (utqg 140 and above tires only).
This season’s eight (8) episode series will be promoted on national television, SPEED, and posted and promoted all over the internet. To sweeten the deal, prizes will be awarded to participants from Royal Purple, Magnaflow Exhaust, Eibach Springs, Mothers Polish and more.
If you want to represent your MBWorld on The Forum Wars Season 2, please reply to this post ASAP. Or, if you would like to nominate a BenzWorld member, you can submit his or her name.
We are looking forward to an improved and incredible season with a great day of competition and fun at the track! Don’t wait to nominate! Nominations will close December 20th.

The guy i believe that's hosting it or whatever, He PM'd my brother which own's a 2011 BMW 335IS saw the photo's of Me and my brother photo shoot and asked if i want to enter. From what i heard on the C63 List, No one is on the list yet? I don't know, i have to confirm with my brother but anyways. I decided to join the list to compete. I think i could roughen up a couple M3's that's competing. Any one else joined?

This might be just the push I need to get the car tuned and the LSD in before January. If I could find a shop in San Antonio I trusted with the LSD install I might actually do it.

Whoever does it for us should be in the mid 11's at least and should have been to the track a couple of time......
Not like that douche PencilGeek from the M3 Boards with the "Stroked M3"

LTH is so on my list for mods after i got a tune. Which is my last mod as far as HP wise. Let's see what i can do for Christmas. If i don't get the LTH, i might just have to switch back to Oem wheels and just run them with just a tune. Just to represent our little C and Mbworld.

Yeah, while I may be willing even I know that I'm no Michael Schumacher. Getting someone with some credentials on the track would be ideal.

Mod vs mod if it's one car show me a header, tune m that could even break into the 11.s. Don't even think the big boy m's could come close..

I wish I had a little more money and a lot more time on my hands, I would help out any way I could.
You guys, this whole M3 superiority stuff needs to stop. Sure, they are amazing cars, but I have to believe that a C63 with tune and headers and maybe even coil overs would smoke a tricked out M3.
Dodger's car would tear up an M3. Mthis's car and Dads's car would smoke an M3.
I may be a little over-enthusiastic, but come on, lets show them how it's done.

You could drive. You have plenty of 1/4 mile experience. Not sure about the other parts, though.
Perhaps the 0-100-0 wouldn't be that hard to do. Not sure, never done it myself. Maybe if Evosport gets their rotors in by that point .
I imagine autocross takes a lot of dedicated practice.
