The C280 was silly looking. If you notice in the pic it badged a C250. I imagine this is the lowest and least expensive of the facelifted C class vehicles. Im sure the C350 with the facelift will look better.

The C63 with the same facelift will also bring it up a notch from the C350.

The interior however is a huge step in the right direction. The flip up navigation was cool for about 30 seconds until you see what they do with the same space in a regular C class without nav and go "Ewwww"

Its wait and see at this point as far as I'm concerned.

I have never seen such a huge face lift as this, the entire dash? Maybe the pics with the new dash is for the new coupe?

^ I hope not. The w204 int was a major let down to me. Something about the buttons and plastic around the radio really made it look cheap to me, compared to the W203 face-lift int. I think its the wood being in the dash that I like so much more. The current int is way too much plastic martial and not enough wood and other trip pieces,

GT2 C63 and yo sister
the new more vertical nose is probably the result of new EU regs requiring cars to be less damaging to pedestrians, I personally dont like it... but remember, "'I'm a traditionalist", "I like the classics" and "I like mine better" often means I cant afford the new one so I'm gonna talk it down

They are so copycat/trendy/required now on every new car (curse you Audi for starting this trend...) and to me even on a Porsche they look like high-school aftermarket Honda tuning. As usual the designers took a very clean and elegant first generation design and "facelifted" it just for the sake of change and did not improve on the original (previous examples of this syndrome are too numerous to even list). So far, with the various styling, options, and engine changes that Mercedes has confirmed for the next couple years there is absolutely nothing that makes me want to "upgrade" to a newer model. Time to award a big "FAIL" to Benz's marketing department, although to cut them some slack I think many of these changes are being forced on them by new emmission and safety regs. Guess I will have to wait and see what's out there around 2014 when I have over 100K much enjoyed high-speed miles on my glorious 2009 Palladium Silver C63. I am in no hurry to buy anything else.
I totally agree. I ordered my C63 before Xmas and I had a call from the dealer yesterday saying that there was a facelift coming and I could swap my order if I wanted. So we went to the dealer today to decide. I think that the new interior isn't as nice as the current and the LEDs dont look as good as Audi's so no point having them (I currently have and A5). In Australia the MB LEDs look the same as the ones Holden has on their cars. The other thing is that designo is not available on the facelift model.

The only thing I dont like is the black 19" wheels, I would prefer the titanium so will look to change later.

And who needs the internet in their car???

When do you think we can start seeing pictures for the C63 of 2012?
