for some reason I see more w203 in the exterior? and the interior I like, it's more e9? BMW
my .02
it will be curious to see what they do to the AMG version--hopefully some testosterone injections because it looks a little fem in the regular street clothes.

Love the interior, hate the headlights. Seems like they changed it just for the sake of change. Looks less aggressive and makes it look like the ugly old BMW 5 headlights.

Picture with the seat looks like it was taken inside of a coupe (only 2 power window switches on the door). Looks just like E class coupe seats. Exterior looks updated but to me not an improvement to the existing design.

I see absolutely nothing that I consider an improvement (with the possible exception of the steering wheel, and that's a maybe...). The new headlights aren't as aggressive/masculine as the current ones, the new dash looks waaaaaay too BMW/Audi and less Benz-like, I despise the whale-hump in the middle of the dash for the sat/nav (I love the current dash with the pop-up sat/nat so you can close it when you want to and have a classic "sports-car" instument binnacle look), and apparently I am the last guy left in the world who thinks all the new LED driving lights look ridiculous. They are so copycat/trendy/required now on every new car (curse you Audi for starting this trend...) and to me even on a Porsche they look like high-school aftermarket Honda tuning. As usual the designers took a very clean and elegant first generation design and "facelifted" it just for the sake of change and did not improve on the original (previous examples of this syndrome are too numerous to even list). So far, with the various styling, options, and engine changes that Mercedes has confirmed for the next couple years there is absolutely nothing that makes me want to "upgrade" to a newer model. Time to award a big "FAIL" to Benz's marketing department, although to cut them some slack I think many of these changes are being forced on them by new emmission and safety regs. Guess I will have to wait and see what's out there around 2014 when I have over 100K much enjoyed high-speed miles on my glorious 2009 Palladium Silver C63. I am in no hurry to buy anything else.
