Merry Christmas from Dads Performance!!
Good Day All,
I want to wish each of you and your families a very Merry Christmas!!
Many of us have made some great friends this year in the process of modding our cars.
We spend hours researching our next mod and what those costs are going to be. We’ve made an effort to improve our cars performance by the vendor of our choice. Then once we are started there is no end. It’s a sickness and addiction. You can’t wash it off and there’s no medication for it. We need to start a new support group called “MA” for Modding Anonymous. I wouldn’t put "cars" in the name because some of us would mod our pets if we could.
My point is we spend an enormous amount of time and $$$ on our hobbies and make friends along the way.
Our hobbies are fun but it’s the family and friends that matter when all is said and done. For those of us with kids we all know that time flies and time with them is vitally important. Many of us have been blessed with what has been referred to as “angels” for wives who put up with our craziness and passion for cars. Spend time with them all and make them feel loved and special!!
I have personally been blessed with an “angel” and three great young adults 21(son), 19(son), and 16(daughter) who all love cars and drive my wife crazy. On my daughters 16th birthday she wanted to go to the track and drag race her car. Needless to say dad had to do it for her. LOL
When the kids are gone our wives are who will hold our hand, love us, and grow old with us. The kids will have their own families and make their own lives so love on your wives and make them a priority!! They do put up with a LOT and we need to be thankful!
Remember the reason for the season which is the birth of Jesus Christ. He is my Lord and Savior and has made all the difference in my life and the lives of my family and many friends. If he hasn’t already He can make the difference in your life as well.
I just want to say thank you to all who I’ve had the pleasure to get to know this year and I hope you have a great 2011. Dads Performance began in 2010 because of this crazy hobby and hopefully will grow into something that will remain fun and beneficial to all involved. Thank you for your support and have a great Christmas!!
