I think it's a good decision not to put the twin turbo in the C-Class until the new chassis hits the market in 2014. This would allow for more aftermarket parts, less depreciation, and a little bit more time with this amazing NA engine

E55 then E63, now back to an E55
I'm not surprised.....
Mainly because they never allowed the CLK55 to have the supercharger, it was that naturally aspirated 5.5 while other cars had kompressor

That's great news for resale but as an enthusiast, I think I would rather have the 5.5TT. AMG doesnt tend to downgrade from generation to generation...and if we think the 6.2 has a ton of modding potential, a 5.5TT will blow your mind...

I love how they describe the sound as "glorious" and "delicious."

This is great news. This is also the way I see things happening:
1) It boost the moral of any C63 AMG owner
2) The market for the 6.2 liter will remain strong
3) The C63 with its 6.2liters will hold the value longer
Basically, the moment that a manufacturer reintroduce a newer engine into a model the previous engine becomes less emblematic and less important.

+1 the c63 will definitely be getting rid of the 6.2 its just a matter of when, can't wait to see what it will get though in the new chassis that is
