Matt already has a PC stage 1, so we are just upgrading to Stage 2.

Same here.

When I first got my car it was going to be a tune, K&N's and I'm done.

MBH Headers, mid-pipes, LSD, Carbonio, RENNtech air box as of now.

Evosport pulley, Forgestar F14's, Dad's CF vented hood on the way.

I'm a junkie too.

Some good list of mods. I've been pretty good so far in terms of modding. 1.5 years and 20,000 miles in, no mods. hahaha

Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery. So there's a positive.

What pair of shoes will this beast be sporting?

There is NO cure!!!! I said the same thing when I bought mine. It was a nice sporty four door I could drive to work every day. Look where that got me. Welcome to the group. "Hello, My name is Keith and I have a problem".

Haha once the mod bug bites it bites for good. Great choice on all your mods. The MBH headers + the Akrapovic is going to have a very unique sound for sure (Not to mention alot of weight saving + power)
However I would HIGHLY recommend getting the OE Tune.

Ok, and I mean this, i actually I like the stock wheels a lot and after having HREs and Monarchs on my E55 (because the stock W211 E55 wheels blew chunks) Im kinda good on wheels. I dont want to have to worry about every single awful pothole in SD...and since the rains it has only gotten worse. Im sticking with performance mods for now...

Thanks....it was great talking to you yesterday, and I just decided to pull the trigger because I knew I was in great hands with James and once I started hearing all the youtube clips and seeing Petro63's post...i just became convinced. As far as the exhaust, I love those square tips (one of the few things i like about the W212)

You and Petro are in large part to blame for me falling off the wagon. Great sound clips and great reviews about the headers, not to mention the other posts about the exhaust (even though people weren't happy with the price) convinced me to do this. After modding the **** out of my E55, I have gotten to a point where Id rather my car look stock and unassuming but drive like a beast, than spend money on aesthetic pieces that will just make me worry about driving conditions (i.e., potholes) and attracting unwanted attention (i.e., people keying your car, or like what happened to me, someone tagging my window...). I like the stealth look of a stock car with a ****ing lion underneath the hood. You guys have all been very helpful and informative on these mods, so I truly appreciate everyone's $.02.

I look forward to hearing clips of the Akrapovic mufflers with the long tube headers. I don't think that combo has been done yet.
