some of my friends have been saying that my c63 is louder than any stock c63s people from the recent event that i went to said that it was louder as well. one of my friends who know A LOT about cars said that there could be a leak but got that checked and there wasnt. what can cause that?

Some could argue that they are handbuilt and none are 100% the same. Do you have any mods or completely stock?

got it from factory with a couple miles when i bought it and its completely stock. . . . im not complaining

If your car is 100% stock, I don't see a reason why it would be louder then any other stock C63 out there. Could be a leak, Have it checked out.

Maybe this is a crazy theory, but I'm just going to throw it out there and see what others think: Perhaps the stock exhaust system has some internal baffles inside of it that can get worn or loose or more open if the car is driven hard over time.

I mean, my car is louder in Sport mode than it is in Comfort. It happens as soon as I press the transmission mode button.

All the auto reviews claim that the difference between the transmission modes is shift speed, but I don't think that's completely true. There are other differences, including differences in exhaust sound. Also, Sport and Manual have quicker rpm pickup.

Because I feel like the exhaust note can be louder in different trans modes, perhaps the exhaust note can change depending on how you drive.

I believe my car's exhaust note has gotten louder since I bought it. I bought it used with just under 11,000 miles.

I had a gen 5 Camaro SS and I put a Corsa catback on it. I threw on a blower and eventually LT's and yes it was louder with those parts on -- obviously -- but even when I removed the headers or the blower, exhaust seemed to have gotten louder.

Just my 2 cents.

Just to chime in on one point, I drove mine sanely through the entire suggested break in period & seldomly really beat on it that hard. So ? Haha

it is louder i compared it with my friends stock. i knocked down a sobe bottle and a supercharged ess tuned with eisenmann race exhaust only knocked down a plastic water bottle

Sure seems like a completely different sound than stock C63's. But, you never really know how the camera changes the sound. I do love the sound of TS's exhaust, though.
