Differences in carbon fiber for interior
I'm trying to decide on which company to go with for interior CF parts. Most of the pictures of the interior sets look pretty much the same. But these pictures of the wheel look very different to me. The top picture (MA carbon) looks much more subtle and understated whereas the bottom picture stands out. Not sure if its the quality of the picture or what.
Is there a real quality difference between CF? Or is it just differences in the weave and coating? I'm looking at pieces from MA Carbon, DCT motorsports and MCD motorsports.
I'm curious if they will send me a sample to compare?

If you got money , go MAC plz... Don't ruin your interior. The shifter I bought from DCT is far from perfect as the coating is not complete. Weave is good but coating is far from there. Thats the only piece I have from them and will be the last. They took me an arm for a incomplete product.
Its probably a bit harder to get a shifter done in carbon but hey... its their job.
Pm replied here I'll try to take pics tomorrow to argue.

Guys, just wanted to give a little insight about our product. Our interior set is extremely close to the factory Carbon Fiber. We have a C63 that is optioned with the Carbon Fiber interior and when we compare it to our set, the differences are so minimal. The factory carbon fiber is flawless i must say, but ours is also very close to it!

It's difficult to compare carbon fibre quality from pictures because every picture you take will differ from the first one due the weave pattern reflecting light. Some of the pics on the forum are done with flash and this is when carbon looks the worst.
MACarbon's products have a more grayish colour than other manufacturers' and I have to admit IMO it looks better but I would not pay the $ they demand.

The wheel in the 2nd pic is mine and was done by DCT. One thing to note is that the picture was taken in my driveway where there is little light due to trees so this may cause the CF to look darker than it is. I think when looking in comparison to MACarbon wheel that it is probably darker for sure. No issues with the wheel at all. MACarbon makes great products as well as I have some of their stuff as well. Really can't go wrong with either...just a matter of personal taste.
