Anyone ever tried to lower the front seats?

I guess I like to sit pretty low and the lowest setting doesn't seem to be quite as low as I would prefer. Has anyone ever modified the seat bracket to allow the seat to go any lower?

would require lots of custom work. New sliders and mounts would need to be built. I moved mine back about 4 inches, in the process had the seat out of the car and there really isn't much room to lower it with the factory hardware.

I drive with my seats on the lowest setting, and figure it's pretty low as it is. hmmm, try lowering your car with some coil overs. Maybe that will make it feel lower all together. not sure.

Wow. You must have the arms to match some very long legs. I'm 6'7", and one of the things I like about the C63 is that it's one of the few cars in which I can get the seat all the way back, without having to "straight-arm" the steering wheel. I would like more headroom, though; I, too, wish there were a solution for dropping the seat.

Personally, this brings up a flaw with most cars; you should be able to order them WITHOUT a sunroof. I would much rather have the extra headroom (my head is nearly against the headliner) than the sunroof, no contest...

Yeah I'm 6'8" with pretty long limbs. And I 100% agree would love to be able to order with no sunroof. E92 m3 with no sunroof is cavernous with headroom.

If you're the sole driver of the vehicle, why don't you take all of the sliders out, and hard mount the seat to the ground. If it's that concerning, that should atleast spot you 2 or 3 inches.

gonna be a pain in the *** if you sell the car though.

Personally i think if you are anything above 6'3 this car is too small for ya. I am 6'3 and i find everything to be quiet tight
