sorry... i didnt read it all.. i thought you were speaking of interior CF :p
i think matte black would stand out very nicely on your car, but for the money you put forth on CF parts and the overall look i say keep the CF

Might as well go all out and make the whole car matte black. It's definitely not for everyone but your car would look great i think. I had obsidian before and not many people noticed, now that it's matte black just about everyone stops and stares.

I still wanna go with the obsidian black with a matte black accent...but again if I cant clear coats those goodies might as well stick with the CF coz they have a thick clear coat.

From what I was told- Matte finish carbon fiber is just a matte vs glossy clearcoat. I was also told the matte shows rock chips more-it looks like white spots when it gets chips.

If you want to do something different, I've been offering a gun metal finish to most of my customers recently. I feel like gloss black and flat black is so played out for an accent color.
I did gun metal on my headlight housing, window trim, emblems, and fog light rings on my 2010 G37 sedan last year. It's a little lighter in person, and you can clearly see the contrast up close, but from far it looks almost black. If not gun metal, you can always do matte silver, that'd look dope.
Added a touch of lime green for some contrast on the headlights, bbk calipers, small strip inside the side mirrors and "S" on the rear emblem.

i have black as well, and as ive stated b4 im just not a CF guy. Taking my eurotek CF diffuser off for the arkym flat black diffuser. then im painting moldings and grill black to match. Say no to CF -
