C63 AMG headlights

C63 AMG
C63 AMG headlights
every C63 i have seen online or in person has smoked headlight housings. I Just purchased my car under a week ago and my 2011 C63 has all chrome headlights. I went to the dealership to make a complaint and the dealership said they didnt know and there was no option for the head lights. does anyone know why this is?

my 11 has blacked out.. and i heard that many members are jealous of the newer ones being smoked standard.. i'd complain... something sounds fishy about that.. i've never heard of the 11 not being smoked stock.. atleast im not sure there was a package for them b.c. all the ones ive seen here are blacked out if they are the newer ones (know from the mirrors if they are newer)

The c300/350 with halogens has smoked headlight housings. C3xx with xenons has chrome housings. I believe all C63s shud have smoked housings.

Current models do not come with P2 package. Smoked housing comes with lighting package.+1k USD.

Not necessarily. Once I get to a comp, I'll post review pics, with and without lighting package. If all C63s came with smoked housing, then I just gave MB 1k clams for nothing.

Although I prefer smoked lights, some color codes look great either way. Especially black and mars red.

Although mostly 08's and 09's, but all I have seen (about 8 in all) Smoked = Xenon, Chrome = Halogen

To be honest, they both look badass...wish my mars red looked like the first pic. Really good photoshop. Motortrend, pros. Will be detailing it soon. Just bought a buttload of Pinnacle stuff.

Interesting. So the only way to get smoked headlights is if you get the lighting package.
