Exhaust for the C 63 which does not have resonance
Ok, so as the topic states, i am wondering if there are any custom exhaust systems out there that bring no resonance whatsoever. I hade the SS on my ML 63 and it was quite awful on low rpm's. Just making preps for the new car.
Thanks in advance for your inputs.

I was just quoted EUR 3.000 (USD 4.000) for the slip-on and EUR 5.000 (USD 6.750) for the Evo system. How does that compare to the US prices? I was assuming that for once we could get a bit better prices in Europe since Akra is produced in EU but that does not seem to be the case...

You guys justify your purchases by blowing smoke up your ....
There is nothing that justifies $6,750 for a set of cat backs and down pipes.
I am not sure what the OP is looking for but if it is power, then long tube headers are the best way to go.
I have driven in a car that had MBH headers and there was no drone. It was just very loud past 3K rpm.
I am not debating that the Akrapovic system is the best in quality and looks and this is a hefty MB tax...

Even money & Sincity: thanks, just a couple of hours ago went through some old video clips of my own, some youtube clips on stock and then some with second party exhaust systems. I came to the same conclusion. It's raw and awesome as it is. When i installed the SS system on the ML i told the guys that i want it to sound as much as possible like the C63. So why change it now?
