18" Forgestar's are about 7 to 8 lbs lighter than a stock wheel,
give or take a few ounces.

Steel Grey Metallic C63!!
If you guys are doing that, you might as well just pull up the rear seat cushions. I'm sure they'll be another 20 pounds. They pull right up and snap right back in when done.

What is the approximate weight of the car -- stock -- with say, 1/4 tank of gas, without driver?

Also, and this is a novice question, but outside of scales at a track, do you know of other types of places that offer scales for cars?

I thought I read somewhere the Titanium ones saved 1lb per tire. That might have been for the whole setup though... they are cool though.

I just mean using a smaller rim like a 17 or 16.

63 nice...

Battery 45lb saved.
Spare Tire about 40lb saved.
Headrests 4.5lb saved.
CF hood and trunk: 75lb's saved
Passenger Seat: 63lbs
Rotors: 40lb's saved.
Rear seat cushions: 10lb's probably at most. Still good.
Smaller Rim size: (Please fill in if you know)

202lb's with the rotors...

Let Jon drive:

270lb's of weight savings...

That's a great list, but I think it's more than 202 lbs. I don't know, maybe my math isn't great today.

The rear seat cushions are definitely more than 10 pounds. I know cuz I ripped them up rear interior of the C to do a camera install on the old car. 20+ is more accurate.

Depends on the wheel if you get 17" say volks u prob save 7lbs per wheel and tires also vary in weight but not much maybe 2-5lbs

LOL!

Heck, I've lost weight in the last few months -- 20 lbs. So, that should help.

Every 100lbs equates to .10 in the 1/4 for our cars.. Maybe a bit more in rotational mass like double or so.. So drop 100lbs in rotational mass pick up .20 don't no if u can but

I will only be dropping 40 lbs in rotational mass from the rotors. I don't think I'll get wheels.

But, I will have the hood and eventually the battery, plus all the other free weight reduction mods.

Total diet should yield 230+ lbs reduction.
