I had these CF aprons lying in the garage for quite some time now.
Decided to install them and see if I liked them.
The overall result is great IMO, but there are issues with the fitment and 3M tape will not be enough in this case.
I'll have to think about some scerws or silicone on the bottom.

At first I thought it was impossible to separate the chrome surrounding from the trim without breaking it and I tried wrapping the whole piece, but I somehow managed it. It took a lot of prying and pushing around. I did this more than a month ago so I don't remember accurately how I did it.

A little teaser before I put my summer wheels on Thursday
Gloss black baked 19" Multispokes on Pirelli P-Zero 235/35/19 & 255/30/19
For the first time in my life I had the opportunity to wax my wheels.
I used black Sonax wax. The wheels look amazing in the sun. Pure sex.
Somehow I hear that a lot on MBWorld. Why don't you just buy those damn estates in the US???!!!

I've been debating between gloss or flat black multispokes.
As soon as I think I want flat for sure.. then an hour later I want gloss....

I've tried all wheel colors on my C - flat black, satin black, and gloss black.
1) Flat is the worst cuz it looks dirty all the time.
2) My winter 18" OEM wheels are satin black (~ 30% gloss) and they look amazing when cleaned.
3) Gloss is by far my favorite. I got convinced after I saw a 911 Turbo on gloss black 20" and a CLK63 BS on gloss 19".
The pressure washer is a Karcher 6.75 Jubilee.

At first I wanted my MB dealership to paint my calipers, but they declined. Then after searching for 2 months for a decent shop in my area which would do it I gave up. Too much of a hassle for me. I'm still considering it... right along with:
- 2012 tinted taillights
- black matte exhaust tips
- front tint
- ECU.

Either way - your car looks gorgeous and is one of the cleanest I've seen, painted calibers or not.
