Lightweight drag racing seat- I am working on this mod now. I just made up a jig for the W204 floor so that I can make seat bases for the seats. You will get the seat and all you will have to do is remove the factory seat and bolt in the lightweight seat. It will save you a lot of time, trouble, money and aggravation by ordering it as a kit. This mod will save about 50lbs. If you do the seat and the battery you should drop around 1/10 and if you remove the passenger seat and the rear seat you should drop another 1/10. It would be nice to go from 11.1 to 10.90 for $700.00 total.
-estimated price $450.00-$550.00
Thank you Mike (Dodger63) for taking the time and money to do these mods and prove how well they work. Thanks to your investment I can put kits together and sell them to other MBWorld members. It's Mikes dedication to going faster that is helping make it easier for us to help others to follow in his path. If you are interested in any of these mods please feel free to get in touch with me. I will add more parts as we test them and see how well they work.

What aftermarket seat are you thinking about. I will try and get you anything that you may need.
I only have the C63 right now but, as dodger said, it may be the same. If you wanted to take a couple of measurements I can let you know. I would need the measurement from the rear hole to the front hole and from the left hole to the right hole. Hopefully we can make something work.
I'm glad you like it, hopefully we will be stocking the lightweight seat set up. We are going to make it so it is a simple bolt in installation. I am just working on how to make all the mounts adjustable so it will fit each driver.
You no everything that was done for the 10.8 run!
I was going ***** to the wall for the 18th but now we have a heat wave..if anything good comes out of this week I will disclose all of my new mods and weight loss. I will say that after a 4.5 month wait I did receive the rear evo rotors so I'm happy about that.
My sparco evo 3 seat and custom bracket weighs in @ 25lbs so it's approx 40lbs weight savings.. And actually extremely comfortable.. I'm contemplating leaving it in full time along with a reg evo passanger seat. That would be a 80lb weight savings everyday!
"bolt in" -- a new type of go-fast mod.

Must have felt good to finally receive the rotors.

We will have pictures in the next couple of weeks. I just ordered 5 seats and I have to drive about an hour away to get them when they come in so I plan on getting them the end of next week because this weekend I will be going to MIR.
