Anyone state side up for driving the SLS GT3

Guys,
The AMG Academy here in Europe just released their 2011 program and they have launched the SLS GT3 program. See here http://www.mercedes-amg.com/driving-..._slsgt3_warmup
It is not cheap but on the other hand this car is simply amazing. I have booked it out and should be a great time. If anyone is interested, let me know and I will get the exact dates/tracks where they will be conducting SLS GT3 events. Hope some of you make the trip over.

The sale on my car fell through so I am still part of the C63 community. So for all those looking for a part-out, sorry won't be happening.

Dave

4500EUR is quite steep but it's the SLS GT3 so no wonder. You'll have a great time but it might make your SLS in May too slow after you drive this thing

Why did the sale fall though? Do you want to keep the C63 now?

Having been in the GT3, this thing will make almost anything seem slow. Brutally fast, absolutely flat in the corners and the brakes rip your face off when you step on them. But the new ride will still be enough for a DD. The guy who bought the car has some issues with customs/licensing so it killed the deal. I gave him back his $ as it seemed to be the right thing to do considering all things. I will keep the car as I still love it. I guess I will just need to continue the modding now.

Sorry to hear about the sale falling through Dave... but as long as you're still getting your SLS in May, it's all good. You can always try to sell the C63 locally in the future.

For now, I'm happy to see you will hang around this forum for a bit longer.

Sorry to hear the sale fell through. While that will benefit the forum I am sorry it is at an inconvenience and an expense to you.

I hope that you have a great time driving the SLS GT3. I am sure that the experience will be a memorable one. I know you know how to do it right and will be able to do it justice. I will have to live this experience vicariously through you and I am sure your posts of your time in the car will transfer the enjoyment and thrill of driving the GT3 back to the rest of us.

Welcome Back!

Hey Dave, sorry your deal fell through.

Since your modding again, Keith's(Dad's) CF trunk is looking mighty tempting.
