Well consider this. The c230 Sports Coupe launched far before the Honda Accord Coupe (of this gen). That same platform was then evolved into the CLC in non-American markets (upgraded to w204 styling cues).
The w204 launched over a year before the Accord Coupe (of this gen) did, providing the CLC with the looks that the Accord Coupe eventually would mimic.
These same lines were more or less carried over into the proper (new) C-Class Coupe.

I feel the same way. Some people do that just to take credit away just for the hell of it, in other words, negative people. Its a C class, and that's that!

You blind MB fanbois are just the guys we like to laugh at. If you don't see how the C Class coupe is almost an exact copy of a 3 year old Honda model, then there's no hope for you.

And as much as I love AMG's I'm not a fanboy, I have previously owned a BMW, and currently shopping for a Porsche!

Insideline's Review of the 2012 C63 AMG Coupe
This is the first review I have seen. Looks like the 2012 is a winner.

Miserly mpg, exhibitionist torque (i.e. Q5 TDI)
Encouraging review. Glad to hear they liked the MCT transmission. Sounds like the performance pack ride is still washboard-esque. I know there were whispers that the ride on the standard car may be a tad more sedate. Here's hoping.

Yes I simply meant that it was a good review in which the car was praised for it's handling and MCT transmission. The CTS-V is a great car, but it's also heavier and if you don't want a stick the auto tranny has received bad reviews. I think whether it's more luxurious/upscale is really subjective and about personal taste. The interior certainly looks good to me.

It's not clear wether the c63 coupe is any faster than the sedan in straight line or for that matter on the track since it weighs the same according to inside line.
So a 2012 C63 coupe that's barely faster than the 2008 4 door C63 that's way more practical ...no so sure I would call that a winner.
I would love to see the numbers C63 coupe vs 2012 C63 sedan both with PP.
the styling is also quite understated IMO

What I got from the review was that they loved the car. And I mean like first high school crush kind of love. So, that's pretty cool.
I have to say, if the ride is more stiff than the pre-2012 sedans, that could end up being a bit too harsh for my DD taste.

It's not so much the coupe but the review with the 2012 updates that I was referring to as a winner....transmission and suspension updates. The sedan is receiving them as well. Yes I especially don't care for the styling of the rear quarter panel on the coupe. It's in need of more curves.

I considered the CTS-V for some time, and took one for a drive. The interior of the V is not as nice as even the current C63, the 2012 interior has it beat hands down. Exterior styling on the V sedan is nice, but the coupe is a bit of a turn-off. Here in Canada, the CTS-V is more expensive than the C63. And you forget the most important difference between the two cars - build quality -the CTS-V is full of problems that bother even their most loyal owners.

The M3 has grown on me alot, I use to think it was too blah. But mow I think it's just the perfect roportions in terms of design, although they can do something with the exhausts, they look a bit forced towards the rear center. There is a white one at Motor Werks down the street from me and I can't help but stare at it every time.

As far as exterior goes, I love C63 when I look at it (sans pronouncedly tamed rear wheel arches compared to wide front ones) ... but it does look like entry level luxury model (albeit beefed up). CTS looks more like mid-luxury car, more akin to E class. I feel design wise, MB lost a lot of sedan's upscale charm... yet they made it too tame and left it looking like a base coupe pretty much. Cadillac on the other hand really beefed up design so their V-series can be easily distinguished from their regular brothers.

New interior - fantastic got rid of the pop nav and added the two tone seats very C43 old school class
Exterior - It's a push. Wish they would flared the rear wells for some decent rubber.
Panaroof - Get rid of it. An extra hundred pound right were you don't need it.
Tranny - Sounds fantastic on paper. Let's see what its like on the test track.
