If I'm not mistaken, that color is Mars Red in states.
My GT5 C63 is fire opal, and looks like my real one.

Maybe a match for Chrysler Sebring or something like that, but not for CTS-V, not by a mile. I drove plenty of C-class sedans, I couldn't stand those interiors. Even though I do agree, CTS-V interior, while reasonably luxurious, is not really jaw dropping, but it does look and feels from a 50k+ car.
With the C63 interior, color selection makes all the difference. Mine has the wood option, a combination of black/gray (the gray looks more like sand), and two-tone cloth seats. I think it looks great, and fairly upscale, while also sporty. I agree that all black/aluminum looks bland. An M3 interior with the same black/aluminum combo looks even more bland.

I haven't seen the CTS-V interior in a while, but I find its exterior too blocky and choppy for my taste.

New C63 Coupe pictures on Inside line

Actually looks pretty good in this color and wheel combo, I think this may grow on me!!

From certain angles this car looks aggressive, the rear is also attractive. On this side picture it looks good, but this car definetely looks better with these 5 star wheels rather than the multispokes pictures we have seen so far. This coupe needs a "chunkier" wheel like this one.

werd, I didn't like it at first, but it is growing on me. Maybe the white with the black rims doesn't tickle my fancy.

Just in case you didn't know the CTS is in the segment of the E class and 5 series and not C class, and you got to remember that this is a drivers high performance car, interior shouldn't be its focus, i like it that its subtle and not distracting to the eye. but the seats are the best by far in the C63

+1
I think Chris mentions in his review that the C63 coupe's seats aren't as good as the saloon's. I was always satisfied with MB's interiors, because like you said, I'm too busy driving and listening to the exhaust to notice, lol. Seats are very important though, since it's where your *** sits the whole time, no matter what vehicle. I love my W204. 'Nough said.

No, i didht know that and i have no idea where you got that idea. Msrp of base cts coupe is 38k, hardly e-class territory. Cts was slways marketed as 3-series fighter.

Best seats by far? Assume you didnt sit in recaros in ctsv? They own c63 seats in all holes.

Interior in 70k car should look like one. Not buying the "should not be distracting" nonsense. Never heard of anyone claiming they got in an accident because were distracted by thieir stylish interior while driving... that would be the most retarded excuse i ever heard.

No need to get riled up over this. Many of your comments are always negative or you have some hostility in their tone. I'm not trying to call you out, but just making sure it stays clean.

Okay now I get it, somebody should've warned me you are a GM fanboy.

Didn't Cadillac have a commercial on national TV comparing the CTS to the E class and 5 series, I believe they were dancing in the commercial. And the CTS is much cheaper because.... wait.... IT'S a GM, and that's the only way they'll sell, and that's why they keep the boxy look in their design to keep manufacturing coast down and if you don't believe me than do a little research yourself. and like you said Recaro because GM can't manufacture a decent thing to save their lives. oh and take that recaro seat and rive it in everyday traffic and see how much you like it. and you also pay 200K on performance cars that the interior look like they belong in a Zastava, so 70k is nothing for this kind of cars. and price does not dictate the cars category, I mean look at GTR's, they can out perform cars they coast 4-5 times more but yet are the same category. again apples to apples

and now compare which is more luxurious/classy since you want to look at it from that point? And I use to sell Nissans and I could swear GM use the same buttons

The CTS sedan is aimed at 535 and E350, while the coupe is aimed at 3, C, E-coupe.

Nice way to back track. When you stated that Honda copied MB with the Accord coupe.

Please do explain where in that comment of mine I state that "Honda copied MB with the Accord coupe"? or if anyway I implied that?

Miserly mpg, exhibitionist torque (i.e. Q5 TDI)
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and to this beholder, the CTS sedan looks silly and the CTS coupe looks like a hideous wedge.

The CTS-V wagon, on the other hand, is magnificent. I love everything about it.

A Car
Here is a link to an article to download from UK autocar: m3 vs c63 amg coupe. Nice read. From their standpoint the M3 wins, but they did have some nice things to say about the new coupe.

Someone posted this on the M3 forum.

I'm no fanboi. Neither GM nor MB nor anything else. I judge the cars by what they are, and not by their logo. I don't have that crazy three-pointed star-shaped eyes when I speak about MB. I own MB, but I'm not fanatic. I'm interested in C63 coupe, and yet (unlike some) I can compare it more or less objectively with other cars. If you (or anyone else) want to keep shouting "MB rulezzzz forevah!!! GM suxxxx!!!" go ahead.

Uhmm, Recaros look like they're from a car that costs twice as much. What's your point? MB seats look nice and meaty, but that's it, nothing special about them. Recaros are far more adjustable.

.... IT'S a GM, and that's the only way they'll sell, and that's why they keep the boxy look in their design to keep manufacturing coast down and if you don't believe me than do a little research yourself
I did, found nothing. Care to provide a link? I also didn't find the car to be all that boxy. I'm sure you never seen one in person, and judge it by pictures?

and like you said Recaro because GM can't manufacture a decent thing to save their lives.
Uhmm, not at all. It's an OPTION for those who want hardcore seats. I wish all car makers offered this. Providing a buyer with options is not something that is worth criticizing.

oh and take that recaro seat and rive it in everyday traffic and see how much you like it.
Everyone swears by it. I think it's something like 12-13 ways adjustable and can fit anyone, any physique.

and you also pay 200K on performance cars that the interior look like they belong in a Zastava
Name three of them, please.

so 70k is nothing for this kind of cars. and price does not dictate the cars category, I mean look at GTR's, they can out perform cars they coast 4-5 times more but yet are the same category. again apples to apples
Exactly. Nissan is pricing their cars accordingly. 1) butt ugly 2) so-so interior 3) comes for marque that has no prestige whatsoever. It has to perform out of its league to be competitive. When I buy big bucks MB I expect it to be MB-like. Which old-gen C63 was nothing but (the new one is great though, I like the interior much, so no complaints here).
