Preliminary Weistec Supercharged M156 CLK63 Black Series Dyno Results - 640 wheel horsepower
Published on 04-15-2011 07:06 AM 15 Comments Here are the preliminary results for JRCART's CLK63 Black Series running the Weistec supercharger. The car has the Weistec race supercharger package which includes the Weistec heads, cams, and fuel system including larger injectors. The car ran 14.5 psi of boost on stock internals which is incredible really. That is a lot of boost for the stock internals to handle. The tires were slipping on the dyno due to the power which can be seen in the graph so these are just preliminary results. They will be trying again with new rubber in the next few days and likely hitting the 7XX whp range.

Would be a sight if he did the 1/4 and only would be the driver and the bucket seat at the funish line. Would be epic. Weistic's motto "So fast that you get there before your car does." Trademark pending.

Congrats to JRCart thats one powerful Benz.

640rw is 780 crank.
640/.82=780
(.82 is 18% drive train loss from our trans)

If he added NOS, I think he could travel back in time...

If he added NOS, I don't think that the stock bottom end will hold up. He'll be launched into outer space with a 150 shot of nos on top of that 14 pounds of boost. lol

14.5 psi- I am missing something here. Is the internals are stock and not forged, he is on borrowed time; especially if the high compression is retained.

Please do tell... Did he increase the head gasket thickness?.. running with stock compression 14.5 psi should destroy the motor almost instantly and if not then these 63 motors are not what we all thought they were A 250 shot of nitrous should be ok then

I've hit the 612rwhp a few times but stopped the runs , wasn't sure how high the #'s would go before something bad happened..

Details of the compression and how we got there while maintaining stock internals will be released at some point, but I can tell you that it has nothing to do with gaskets.

Custom made heads specific for a forced induction system would not be built to yield more than a 9:1 compression ratio.

The car is running the standard Weistec race ported heads that anyone can purchase from Weistec as well as stock OEM head gaskets.
