I will tune mt C63 in the end on june whit Cargraphic headers and a custum tune. I will keep OEM midipe whit cats becuase of the emissions test. Maybe I change them out to 200 cells race cats. They will weld the cargraphic headers to the OEM midpipe hope it works out.

How much do you think I will gain?
I hope 570 hp in the engine.

You are better off getting the Cargraphic headers and mids with high flow cats. Its not worth cutting the stock mid pipes to weld on the Cargraphic headers. A bolt on setup is much simpler and reversible in case you wanna go back to stock.
I really don't know how much hp you will gain to the crank it all depends on the tune and your exhaust setup.

I will keep my car tuned never go back to stock. But If I want I can.
Also I dont want to pay 1100 euro for mids whit cats I can buy just secondery cats for 400 euro.

What about aftermarket air filter? K&N och BMC? Is it worth it? I have read about people getting problem when they change the filters.

Absolutely correct, Like he said, its not worth cutting your stock pipes. By the way, the caragraphic system with the headers , pipes and high flow 200 cell sport cats should pass emmission tests. It wouldnt pass if you canceled out the primary and the secondary cats together, but you will have the scondary reduced to 200 cells instead of the 400 Cells. Where are you from? maybe they got diffrent standards in your country.

In any case, If I were you, I would remove the stock system, install the caragraphic system, and when it comes time for the emmision test, just redo the whole thing and go back to stock again.

Yes it will in Sweden. Then your going to install the caragraphic headers and weld it to your stock pipes cancelling out the primaries and remove your secondaries and replace them with 200 cell cats, am I right?

if this it, then you should pass emmisions and you wouldnt have to go through the trouble of installing/reinstalling your system for each emmision test. Depending on your tune, you should expect 570-580 HP at the crank. Make sure a german tuner tunes your car for maximum output.

Yes you are right. First I will let the OEM secondery stay to se how the car sounds. Maybe later I change to 200 cells racecats.
It is a German tuner but they have opend in sweden as well. But the guy who will custum tune the car is from germany, he has only lived in sweden a few years. I will be glad if I get 570 HP.
Do you know where to get 200 cells race cats that fits OEM midpipe?

Thats a good question. I never witched the stock secondaries with an aftermarket secondaries. I have always switched the complete stock pipe with the aftermarket pipe that contain the sport catalytic converters. That said, ask caragraphic about this, I'm sure they can customise this for you
They customised a stright pipe to the resonaters for my SL63, which I will be getting soon.

What do you think about airfilters? Should I keep OEM or change them?
I have heard some people got problems when they changed filters.

Does it really matter if they are genuine or not. We don't want a repeat of the last episode about cargraphic headers

I have orderd my headers directly from Cargrahpic in germany.
But I have to wait until the end of juni becuase my tuner has orderd a new dyno.

I believe they fit both lhd and rhd.
He sold it because a) he lost his licence b) he decided to go to Europe for work for some time 12months or so
