365 rwhp and 332 ft-lb tq on a Mustang Dyno.

He only did like 3 runs, it is possible the car could be stronger with a few more hard runs? I don't drive the car hard on a normal basis.

Thanks for sharing.

Can someone explain the large disparity between whp and wtq when the disparity at the crank is less?

I don't mean this post to be argumentative; just looking for an explanation.

Very well could be.

When I put my stock C63 on a Mustang dyno the whp and wtq were very close to each other.

Mustang dyno's normally add a load to the drums to simulate road conditions, and usually show a slightly lower number than a dynojet dyno (betwenn 0 and 10% usually). Dynojets do not apply that load and typically show a higher number. I would think that setting s the Mustang dyno apply little or no load to simulate the Dynojet dyno.

I always try to use the same dyno when doing before / after comparisons for any mods as you don't get the weirdness of the different Mfg's philosophies of loading...

Still, nice number for stock. Assuming 20% driveline loss that's pretty much bang on 451 at the crank.

That particular dyno location is ~18%. But yes, that means MB built the engine right.

I got something similar, what's the effect of it either being old or new if it is a random subject that didn't lead pretty much anywhere..?

Well you sort of answered your own question

1) It doesn't lead to anywhere
2) Bumping down useful current threads
3) Some of these people may not own the vehicle anymore/use forum account
