Eyelid Staying lit..
So lastnight i parked my car in the garage, as im shutting the door I notice the passenger eyelid lights are lit. Thought i turned the headlight switch to far to the parking light. Checked it, was off. Started the car, turned lights, on and off. Still stays lit for a few seconds than goes out.. Any ideas??

Sounds like the parking light option is turned on...kinda looks like a <----P-----> symbol on the headlight knob to the far left....I just leave my car in auto.

I have the same issue. I have AZN Optics 8000k LEDs installed. It took me at least 3 months to figure out whats the problem.
You have to change the bulbs to new ones.

Off..I never use the Auto function. And if i do, both eyelids and fogs light up when i lock it. Something is keeping just the front passenger eyelids lit. Think the LED bulbs have something to do with it? Ive had them for thousands of miles without issue.
Its gotta go back for the 5th time for another CEL, so Ill have those goons look at it. Theyll probably try to tell me the bulbs messed something up, and I gotta pay out of pocket like they always do.
I need a good Indie in NJ. These dealerships suck!

My first set of AZN 8000k had the same issue after about 6 months.
I bought a new set and now it's all fine.
I hope this works for you as well.
I even took my car to two different dealerships to check for CELs. None of them could figure out the problem.

Ill give RPM a shout. I keep getting a bank lean code. I cleaned the sensor, and i was fine for about 1k miles. Its back again.

If you need someone closer than RPM, Bergen Import in Cliffside Park
is very good. All he does is high end Euro's and he has his own MB star
diagnostic system. He installed my CF trunk, diffuser, splitters and rotors.
Ask for Harry, tell him Mike with the C63 sent you.

Happened to me a few nights in a row, took a video to prove to my dealer that it was happening, they told me I must have left it on the first time I told my service rep. I made sure I had that video the second time to prove it to them. They changed out the switch and they haven't came on since. (Knock on wood)

Sure it is not part of the cornering light function?? This is part of the bi-xenon light package. My understanding of this function is that if you do low speed manoevres - eg turning into your driveway - the fog light facing in the direction of travel comes on and stays on for a while. It is meant to be a safety feature ie to better illuminate around corners etc. It is different to the active light function which works on the headlamps.

Same thing happens to me! I noticed it about 2-3 weeks ago. I barely started putting the switch on "0" a month ago, I usually drive it in "A" or all the way to the right & pulled out one click (for the fogs to stay on).
I'm also using Azn Optic 5k eyelids. When the car is parked/armed and the light is switched to "0" setting, everything is fine and bulbs are off for about 10-20 minutes. Then suddenly the passenger eyelid bulbs turn on and so do the right rear breaklamps. It practically mimics the function when the switch is turned to "P->". I'm guessing it's a wiring problem
When you guys find a solution, please let me know. I'll park with the lights set to "A" or all the way clockwise & pulled out one click like I've been doing for 2 years.
olszowa12 says getting new bulbs worked
azadian22 says changing the switch worked
Please let me know what you do obsidian05e55

Did a test tonight. My light switch is in the off position, one LED light on the passenger side stays on for a few seconds. I tried the light switch in the AUTO position, on led on the passenger side stayed for several minutes till I put the switch in the OFF position. It than shut off in seconds.
When the lights are on BOTH leds in the passenger side eyelid light up fine. When i turn the car off, the inner led goes off, and the outer stays lit, but its dimmer...
I ordered new LEDs. So ill post my results when i install them.
