The CTS-V is an absolute amazing beast, and the Black Diamond edition is gorgeous.
I've finally let go of the idea of a backup plan, if I have to wait another month for what I really want then so be it.
(what I _really_ want now is the new CLS63, but not at $110,000+, I'll wait 3 years and pickup a used one up for $80k)

The CTS-V is an absolute amazing beast, and the Black Diamond edition is gorgeous.

The black one is magnetite black. Very nice!! I'm getting this one. So far delivery date is sep 26, placed order on June 16, and build date was august 12. Car is technically frozen for production. So let's hope delivery date does not change. Designo and performance package included.

It seems if you've ordered a coupe keep a close eye on your build date and your fingers crossed.

The general pattern is all the US C63's have been delayed, the coupes more than the sedans. Some super lucky people might get them earlier but there seemed to be parts issues and other things causing the delays.
It seems if you've ordered a coupe keep a close eye on your build date and your fingers crossed.

Yeah new pictures would be so much fun. Regarding the order I was always told it is the cf and designo that delay the car. There was never a mention the pp.

It would arrive at port here near LA I believe.After following this thread and speaking with my dealer, I was under the impression everyone's build was pushed back to September +, let us know if your dealer confirms your car is off the water and on the ground tomorrow.

MB USA has updated their website to show the 2012 C300 sedans and have added the configurator for those. Even on those base models it says leather seats aren't available yet.

I'm sure its correct. They emailed me the VIN a few weeks ago. It was finished in July. They said they would check the status again Saturday to confirm it made it. I will list my options to maybe narrow down why mine has arrived and others have been delayed.

Canadian orders
Hey Everyone, new to the site. I've got the 63 coupe ordered as well but I'm having a hard time with my dealer finding the options I want ( if they're available in Canada ) because of them having so few details and the way our order packages are set up. Anyone else who ordered one in Canada have this prob?
Example would be my coupe has the DP upgrade but the dealer told me that we don't get the "race start" selection option in Canada. He also didn't think we get the glass roof either
Any info from someone else who has ordered in canad would be appreciated since the US order options allow more individual option choices instead of full packages just to get one option.
