That's great news! if your dealer hadn't mentioned it, the P31 package seems to be having issues with the real carbon fiber spoiler so you may want to have them check with MBUSA and see if it will have it or not.

Yay The verdict came in today. I get mine in march with € 42k off sticker price. A guarantee was made that it won't leave the dealership during the winter. Main argument was that no winter tyres will be bought for it. Glad to know exactly what to wait now

It is a US Spec, but I am a military base in Germany so it is staying with me while I'm here. The factory tour was really interesting. Those robot arms that build part of the C series are like watching a futuristic movie. Crazy stuff.

Thank you everyone for the congrats. We are all part of the AMG family. I must say my favorite part of the car so far since i can't really drive it to the fullest yet, is the Designo Red and Black seats with the diamond white paint contrast.

One of the reasons why there's huge delay for cars with AMG Performance Package Plus or with carbon fiber interior trim option is MB's carbon fiber supplier went bankrupt and MB had to find other sources to get the parts.

I think his point is that real CF is difficult to make so few companies invest in it.

I had heard the CF trim causes delays sometimes due to supplies too from my dealer. BMW cheated and use a cloth instead of finished CF to avoid some of that.

I took the C out for a drive today again. Now that it was properly driven in i drove it like it's supposed to be driven. WOW! The exhaust note has a more "base"-based sound to it whereas the 2008-2011 has a more raw note (probably not the best word to describe it, but in lack of words...). And best of all: There's a shtload of exhaust sound coming into the car. It sounds awesome when you floor it. S+ shifts fast as hell too, as well as manual. There's a nice note when switching to a lower gear with the MCT
Grip is excellent even on wet surface and the chassis works wonderfully. Very balanced, but since i drove on public roads i didn't really take it to its limits :P

All of you who have ordered it and not yet gotten it: you're in for a treat
Also love the trunk space of the estate..

Yes, but it looks like the ship is going to the east coast first, then over to the west coast so it's another 2 - 3 + weeks maybe.

At least you got to fondle your car and have a little foreplay to hold you over!

Hi - after 6 months (!) of wait (due to designo-seats) my C63 in magnetite black is ready on october 13th. I will take the factory pickup with the tour before. I had the tour twice in the past but the last one is 8 yrs back.
I didnīt take the performance package but as i live in germany i choose the higer speed-limit of 280 km/h. It should be fun....

My question is: What YOU do to shorten the long waiting
