I just got the call I have been waiting for. My C63 finally made it to the dealer. It has been at the CA port for almost two weeks. All the C Series cars had to get a modification done before they could leave and I guess the West Coast was backed up. I was originally supposed to get it a week ago. I can't wait to get it tonight. I will try to get picks up tomorrow.

Excellent! It's about to be xmas morning for you.
My dealer just called too, mine left Germany and won't be at port here until October 11th, but at least it's on the water. I don't know if I can handle another 30 days.

I did not realize you had Oct 24. Check with your dealer you may get a nice surprise. Mine was supposed to be Oct 17 until last Wednesday. Things change fast.

I cannot remember exactly how I tracked it and I did not save the link. Try a google on the shipping line, boat and port and see what comes up. The salesman had to give me some info to get it to work. Name of shipping line or boat and date of departure. Sorry I am not more help.

If the money won't break the bank then go for it, you don't buy a car like this every day so it's best not to compromise if you think you really want it.

OK so I added the P31 AMG Development Package along with the mBrace option. Hopefully my car hasn't been locked down yet (scheduled for 1st decade October production). Hanging around this forum sure gets expensive!

Just make sure to check with your dealer as not all build allocation dates can support all options. you may find the P31 isn't available on that date and you need to wait.

Does anyone know where to obtain the OEM CF trim pieces after the sale? $2530 for a few pieces on the dash and doors is downright Porsche-like in its pricing.

2012 C63 (On the way)
Okay, I finally picked up the car from the MB Factory in Germany yesterday and drove it home. I am in love with her.. However it is so hard not to drive over 90mph/ 145km or past 4000 rpm until you break it in for the first 1000 miles/1500 km .. but even in comfort mode and driving it like a granny, it is amazing. I have some pictures from when I picked it up, but they are not the best quality.. I would like to wash it again ( bug splatter from driving home) and then post some really good sunny day clean pictures this week or weekend..
It was well worth it's wait in gold.. I can't wait for the rest of you to get your cars and be able to chat on the forum about how we are in love..
