2024 EQE 43 AMG SUV
Yeah well, i'm gonna have to wait until the end of the week. Didn't wanna worry future 2012 owners but a "funny thing" happened to me when i was driving it last week. The whole car started shaking. First i thought the road was rough..you know how the suspension on the C can be on uneven surface. However the saking continued and then the check engine light went on. I immediately pulled over and opened then hood. The whole engine was shaking from side to side so i turned off the engine. Yesterday they told me it has something to do with the exhaust ventilation or something... Still waiting for more info.

AMG Driving Academy was in town today for a 3 hours introductory course. I got the chance to drive most of the AMG lineup including a c63 coupe exactly like the one I'm about to own early next week. I have one advice for c63 potential buyers => Get the performance package! On a side note the E63 is really impressive.

C63 Coupe Edition 1
AMG Driving Academy was in town today for a 3 hours introductory course. I got the chance to drive most of the AMG lineup including a c63 coupe exactly like the one I'm about to own early next week. I have one advice for c63 potential buyers => Get the performance package! On a side note the E63 is really impressive.

Yes CaliSun, lots of fun indeed! Especially when the first car you jump in is the one you ordered and are about to get.
This course made me really want to take one of the courses they offer...winter driving or mastering performance. Jycke, is it available in Finland?

) in northern Sweden it is. So basically you can drive all the way up there, or then just take the plane up and borrow one of theirs. I'm actually considering it. I don't think i wanna drive my C63 up to lapland where it can snow a ****load in just a couple of hours..Better to just use their SLK's and C's

No, it's still in the shop i reckon. Besides i only decided i'm taking it this week and haven't informed the dealer yet Gonna call him first thing in the morning, and i'm hoping to have the car on tuesday, given that it has been repaired. Soooooo happy I've been watching the pics i uploaded and i'm more and more sure all the time that it is worth the extra 6 grand instead of waiting half a year.

On c63, you noticed a big difference between p31 package and without? I am 2nd guessing my options a lot..

You got to be kidding me. Sorry to hear about that. I am sure it will be fixed soon. Thank god for warranty's. Well I have not had that problem yet, but I just sent you a message about this loud fan noise I get after driving it at high speeds for awhile. Also, I feel that the trans in C mode shifts a little ruff into gears, but it just might be me getting used to this powerful beast.. I know S and S+ this is normal to shift hard, but even at high speeds to day in S+ I didn't like the delay I had at 7000 rpm and then shifting. It felt kind of lagged. I don't know maybe I have to get used to it.
Also, all of you are making me regret not having the PP now. However thankfully Carlsson told me not to worry they will tune the car when I am ready for 2,000 euro, take it to 505 hp, and take the governor off the car for top speed.

Being able to take your car directly to Carlsson is not exactly a bad backup plan.
I'm interested in seeing what the MCT is like now after your comments and how it compares to my current BMW DCT.
