TrueCar says that I could get my car for 75k(4 people in my area already have with my price.)

How accurate is TrueCar? That seems like a pretty dramatic savings for a brand new body style that's very popular right now. The two coupes at my nearest dealer sold within a day of hitting the showroom (an edition one and loaded arctic white). I got lucky finding one they had coming in and snatched it up as it was arriving at the port of LA. I was able to negotiate $2k off, but that's certainly nowhere near $9k. They also gave me the $1k conquest incentive for switching from BMW, but I assume that's standard.

Given the demand (and limited supply) for them, I wouldn't be surprised if some dealers marked them up. In any case, I hope you get a good deal on yours! You're going to love it!

Conquest was $2k off unless they've changed things around. I'm just hoping conquest will still be around in Feb cause hopefully that is when I'll take delivery.

I'm not sure if it varies by state, dealership, month, etc., because it was definitely $1k as of last week at Fletcher Jones Las Vegas. It seems like they should honor it if you've already ordered the car.

Per your real world experience True Car is about as accurate with cars as Zillow is accurate with housing prices. It's all what the market will bear. My local MBZ dealer has a back log of sales on C63 coupes. As soon as one hits the floor it's gone in a day. Good luck finding a P31 in Socal. I did see a factory matte white E63 and matte black SL63 on the floor.

how much under/over msrp are you guys paying for your 2012 c63 amgs? I am looking to get one early next year and wanted to know how much I should be looking to pay.

can you usually get negotiate the price down for these cars?

You can usually negotiate something but how much depnds on a bunch of different factors. The longer you wait the more leverage you will have as the initial pre-order demand dies down and they have less people fighting over the cars coming off the line. it also depends on how many dealerships are in your area and if you can play them against each other. Right now there is no clear amount I don't think.

Some of the large chains of dealerships like Sonic and Autonation have policies not to charge over MSRP these days.

Talked to my dealer about the Conquest program. He was going to wait before twlling me about it because each month the amounts can shift so he was waiting for the December sales offers to get published. He said in the past few months it has varied between $1000, $1500, and the current $2000.

The Edition 1 Coupe only comes in matte black. You aren't able to change any options on the Edition 1.
