Quick question about the rear seats

Hi everyone, the other day when I went to test drive the c63 amg I vaguely remember the rear seat passenger air vents have a small display that shows the temperature for the rear passengers to adjust. It's a small touch but I think it really adds to the interior styling.

Now looking at some private listings online I don't see that screen, even though the seller says the car has all options except performance package. So I want to ask if your car has it?

I test drove a Canadian c63 if that matters. Thanks!

Maybe Canadian C63 are configured like the European models, as I have never seen this option offered in any US C63. My E63 has this, as it has 4 Zone climate control.

Possibility of it being a new option for 2012 or 2011? Private listings probably for pre-owned so would probably not have it?

Oh whoops forget to mention the year, I test drove a 2009 c63 amg and it had that option.

I am having an extremely difficult time finding a picture online showing this screen, but I'll keep trying anyways. I've seen pictures of the 2012 c350 having this lcd screen, that's why I was surprised to find it on a 09 model.

If only european version has it, then I would like to hear more inputs from Canadian c63 owners because the seller says it's a Canadian car so I hope he didn't import it to resell.

That photo was from a C300 or C350 Luxury model, not sport or even a C63.

This thing is called 3 zone climate control and its an option. And it was always available everywhere in the world. I doubt they would make it in the UK and the rest of the Europe, Middle East and not make it as an option in the US.

Standard on Australian delivered cars. Note that the C63s here tend to be fully loaded as standard (price is fully loaded too). Only options are keyless go and rear blind (which are both virtually standard anyway), carbon fibre trim, LSD, 19 inch wheels and Performance Pack

Absolutely right. I've got it in my euro C63. I don't find it stylish or anything, but my dog loves it (it keeps smelling the vents all the time).

Also, It's called a three-zone climate control, but it is not REEEEALLY 3-zoned. You can set the temperature and fan in that display, but if you turn off the A/C in the front, you cannot turn it on for the back seats.

I'll try to take a pic and post it here (if I remember to do so... ) :p

Totally wrong... I'm lucky to be in perth where (1) there are no floods and (2) no hailstorms or anything too hardcore, but when it comes to winter time it is COLD! It's even worse for the eastern states...
