hi guys. just picked up a 2009 c63. i'm having trouble transferring my contacts on my cell phone to the car. the bluetooth works great, but i just can't figure out how to transfer the contacts. do only smart phones transfer info? because i am using a p.o.s. sanyo phone right now. any help would be appreciated. TIA. AL

Cant be done with 2009 with phones that cant send vcards over bluetooth. Iphone is included in this as well, so I feel your pain! the best way I'm told is to buy a PCMCIA sd card adapter and load contacts from outlook on your computer.

thanks for this info! my buddy w/ a 2010 was telling me "it's so easy...just go to "phone" and import contacts....." and i was like....***** man...that's not an option that comes up on my screen. LOL.

Not exactly...
You can place your contacts via outlook on a PCMCIA and transfer them. I have done this myself but I can't remember exactly how. Do a search as that is how I learned.

Of course if you have option 518, you can do it via a media interface plus. This works with iPhone and bb. May work if your phone supports sending contacts via blue tooth.

The only other option is to purchase the Media Interface Plus (MIP) from Mercedes, I have it on my MY10 C63, and have transferred all my contacts in the COMAND. But not really sure if it's compatible with MY09. I have looked at two different compatibility chart, one says it is, and other says it's not.

That is because the option 518 became available mid production year for 2009 C63. There are actually two versions of the C63 for that MY for a couple of other reasons as well; eg. stand alone LSD v P030.
