I'd much rather have seats that fold in half like the Porsche Sport Buckets, so I can access the non seat delete rear.
Porsche manages to offer those here in the US...

The camo'd mule was running around with ContiSportContact 5P's, 255/35-19 fronts and 285/30-19 rear, which would suggest that the car is being tuned for street tires, and not R tires from the factory like the CLK BS. Pretty wide setup IMO.

What did the CLK BS come with, 265/30-19 front 285/30-19 rear?
255/35-19 front 285/30-19 rear would still be a huge improvement over the C63's bicycle tires, 235/40 front 255/35 rear.

Placed my order and deposit for early spring 2012 build. Only 5 allocated for Czech Republic. Luckly since it will be Euro spec I will get the bucket seats. I have some seat time in GT3 early next month and will inquire with some of the product people as to the projected track features for those who want to know. Just list your questions and I will do my best to get solid answers as much as possible.

Rear fenders look atrophied compared to the front. With both the CLK and SL Blacks, the rear fenders are larger than the rear...looks weird. Split the car into front and back halves with your hand and you'll notice it even more. Rear fender makes the tire and rim look smaller.

I can't make up my mind about it. The rear vents in particular look a little cheesy. and I would really need better pics of the hood vents too. What ever it costs you would have to add the cost of supercharger, new HREs and 305 rears anyway !!!

My heart would go with the C63 BS but my brain would probably tell me a Turbo S is the way to go.

One thing that sways me over the Black series way......the sound of the Turbo S is so crappy, nothing can replace the sound of the 6.2 V8, even if the Turbo S beats the Black Series in a drag barely, the owner of the Black at least enjoys listening to his car.
