Mercedes C63 amg, Bmw X5,
In my opinion if I was in your shoes and I was over 25 then I would not think twice about getting the new cls63 amg. It is simply amazing car. I would say after SLS it is the most beautiful mercedes ever made. Thats just me though=))

Minuses: it is the first year of production. you will need to get used to driving it. Some report turbo lag.
Btw I have driven both. I liked both cars. My preference if any is immaterial.

i really think i might go for it.. the test drive went great and all i have to say is that is fast!!! the engine counldnt be more different from our m156 it only revs to about 6200rpm, but the tq is unreal, as for turbo lag is really is not noticable thats one that i was worried about but i didnt seem to notice any. I am going back on money to sit down and talk numbers and we will see where it goes from there.

Good luck on your decision. The CLS is an awesome car, but it is very different from a C63. Much heavier and not nearly as nimble. The level of luxury is in another league compared to the C, so it is really a matter of what is important to you. You can't go wrong with either one.

congrats--do it, that car is hot--please get the performance pkg, I think it makes the car move beastly in appearance and obviously performance.
The interior is soooo much nicer than our Cs--so is the E63 w/ CF trim.
The CLS63 will also be my next car, unless they come out with something better in the next 2-3 years.
If I traded in my C63 now I'd be less worried about the depreication hit I'd take compared to what my divorce would cost
Besides I only have 3000mls on my little beast.
Enjoy and post results on your deal, options, etc.

Trolling the forum waiting for my C63, I've now picked up a new obsession, the new CLS63.
Now I need two new cars.
Thanks guys.
Luckily I can sell my condo and live in the back of the CLS63.

will see how its goes tomorrow if i make it to the dealer.. sticker was about $119,000 all said and done it should be around $128,000.. i will be playing hardball for sure i should get a deal this would be the 6th benz and 2nd amg my family would be getting from this dealer... It will for sure have the P30 package i wouldnt want it without that package.. My dealership is in Manhattan they already have 60 ClS63s on order.. its just going to be hard giving up the C63 though, i wish i could keep both!! and Callmiro yet again comes up with the sickest pictures hahaha
