Guys, need help here for 20s!!

Hey Guys, has anyone of you ordered the ADV5 TRAKfunction in 20s for your ride? Do they cause any rubbing issues?

I recently ordered a set of that in these specs: 20x8.5+38 front, 20x10.5+50 rear for my ride, and that's what I've been told that is the most aggressive size I can get for my ride. However, I highly doubt it will gonna fit as I've also checked around, most of people with 20s can go up to 10 with +56 at the back W/O rubbing issues.

Guys, should I go down half size to 10? will it still cause any rubbing issues? what's the maximum size of tires should I get as well?

Thank you very much indeed!

You will rub for sure w/ 10.5. +50mm offset... But it all depends how low is ur car ( drop ).

For now I am only using H&R lowering springs, so the low will be 0.75" both front and rear, will it still cause rubbing?

Steel Grey Metallic C63!!
I'm pretty sure 10's in the rear is the max that you can fit. It's questionable with your drop though.

I really don't know man. According to what ADV1 guys said, they have" done previous C63 sets with the given width/offset so there shouldn’t be a problem with those specs."

should I buy in what they said, or should I get down to 10 to be safer? Since the wheels are still under engineering process, it can give me some time to still change my mind.

Guys, please, I need some advices here...

I do have H&R springs with 19x10 +53mm offset, and I barely clear with my 275/30.

Here's another guy in Sweden who ordered 20x10.5 with H&R drop... the company told him it would be perfect fitment, but they were wrong so they let him ship it back for 20x10 in exchange.

First of all congrats, its a nice wheel! Since its a dished wheel, 20" will actually look nicer than 19"! I'm 100% sure that 10.5 with offset 50 will fit if you want poke and larger dish, problem is that you'll have to run stretched tires, rolled guards, negative camber, neutral toe and run risk of rim damage and a very firm ride. Also bear in mind most people who run 10" rear in 20s will have roll the rear guards and can only run max 265 at the back.

All that being said, if you went with that set-up and the hassle. You'll definitely have "stance"

I would go with a less aggressive offset so you avoid any rubbing issues.
Btw the wheels look great!!

Don't need to roll. Mine are 10" rear, lowered on 275s. Perfect!! As long as I don't care more than 3 people.

Anything is possible. A 10" wheel seems to be standard, and sits relatively flush. If they say a 10.5" wheel will fit, it probably will, but you may have to sacrifice on tires.

You can buy a wider rim, and stretch a skinnier tire on it, so it fits under the wheel well. VW guys have been doing it for years. The basic issue is are you doing this for the biggest, flashiest rim with the deepest dish, or do you want a nice looking rim that doesn't sacrifice sportiness (or atleast no more than any other 20 inch rim)? If it's the latter, go with a 10" set up.

Anyone could fit an 11" or 11.5" wide rim if they stretch a 225 series tire and ran some decent camber. However, that person would be opening themselves up to the wrath of the forums!

To be safe, I think I need to call them and get it down to 20x10s, thanks very much for your help, bro.

If you really want deep rims I suggest waiting for Dad's wide body. I believe HMS is making one for the group buy that will probably be hosted by dadsc63. If memory serves me right, it can fit up to 325 tires?

Wise decision!! I was so tempted to do 10.5 to maximize the lip at the time.. But I knew I was going to drop the car soon or later... And didn't feel like rolling or pulling the fenders on a 80 000$ car either.. Hehe!

BTW, ur ADV1 design looks similar to my SV1 rims.. Loving the look w/ brushed centers... Sometime I wish I had 20's for the look, but on the other hand I'm glad I bought 19's cuz the roads in Canada are bad, especially in springtime.

I would HIGHLY recommend you go with Michelin Super Sport tires.
