So far I am beyond impressed with the Michelin's, really worth the extra dough.
As far as looks go, These tires are MEATY!! They look huge for 265's, very wide. Hankook's look flimsy in comparison.
The car is parked at my work but will take some pics tomorrow.

I like the fact that the v12 have soft sidewalls because the roads are really bad here so you get a lot more comfort than the pzeros.
Can you comment on the ride comfort ( not track but rough street) of the hankooks vs PSS.
BTW I do think that with the warranty it's probably cheaper or no more expensive to run PSS than the hankooks.

yeah. i'm running hankooks v12 265s in the rear and I measured the OE p zeros wich were 255. the 255 pzeros were 3mm wider than the 265 v12 mounted on the same rim.

So far the ride on the PSS have been VERY smooth. The Hankooks had a good ride too too but the Michelins are silky smooth.

so they run wider than the hankooks?
since you are lowered on H & R, can you pick some of your friends up and see if you still dont rub even with wider tires

So far I had one person in the rear and no rubbing at all, I would definitley rub with 275's.
If your lowered on H&R's a 235-265 PSS combo is the perfect choice IMO, especially if your running agressive offsets.

I had given a thought about trying Hankooks, but after these posts I think I will stay with my Michelin Pilot A/S Plus.
One question though, being that I live in Georgia and we get "light" winters about 2-3 months tops of cold weather would it be a good choice to try the Michelin PSS?

While we are talking about that, I am ordering the PSS at the moment after all the great reviews of them. I am in KY with mild winters as well. What are peoples' recommendations for winter tires? Good all-seasons or go all the way to a snow tire?
Thanks,
Mark

Just as I thought, A/S Plus is where I will stay. I don't want to bother with changing to winter tires when we usually just get 1-2 snowfalls a year, and even they are mild.

The hankook are less $$$ but you also get less rubber.
Looking forward to putting new PSS on next spring.

I just put Hankook Evo 12 on the rear 2 weeks ago 265/35/18...the ride is a lot smoother and quieter than Pzero's for sure....as to thickness: these look like they have a taller side wall which doesn't give the wheel a nice low profile look as did the Pzeros. But they do dampen the ride.
However, yes, the Michelins are probably the best known quality.
I have just considered that I go through tires every 4000 miles with a track here and there and aggressive street driving so I didn't want to spend $600 on 2 tires....

But next time I think I'm gonna try the PSS.
they maybe around 100$ more per tire but don't forget that compared to what you're paying either in depreciation or monthly paiments the price difference for the tires isn't all that big.
my c63 will probably cost me around 30 to 35 k $ in depreciation over 4 years if not more.
so why not pay a few $$$ more for tires that let me extract more performance from a car that I bought for it's performance in the first place...

As soon as I replaced them with P0's I was much more happy.
But, the price is right, that's for sure.
I'm really looking forward to trying the Michelin PSS's.
