Hey Guys,
Just wanted to chime in and clear up some of the confusion on power levels. A Stage 1 supercharged car (Completely stock with the supercharger system) makes 500 horsepower to the wheels on a dynojet dyno. You can give or take some because of dyno type, temps, octane, etc. Our Stage 1+ system is our supercharger system tailored towards the customer who already installed long tube headers, free flowing exhaust, and air filters. This system is almost identical to the Stage 1 system, but we modify the calibration for the exhaust and also equalize boost because free flowing exhaust is like many know a very big bottle neck and the car typically drops 2-3 psi boost. Jim's (Jrcart) car has a completely stock drivetrain. No light wight driveshaft or any special differential parts. It does have light weight rotors, but we have not seen any real gains on the dyno from this. We dyno this car on slicks because it does burn out on the dyno with the dymags, and we notice a small power loss with the sticky tires, but its very negligible.

Trust me, I wish I had the CF driveshaft, the vendor that evosport hired to complete the driveshaft dropped the ball on that project not once but twice, I finally gave up on it.

Hopefully there is a way to warm them enough with the LC. That was the only question I had with the new tranny. Meh... Im satisfied with my 2010. It gets to a point where I have to look at it for what it is... a bad *** 4 door but still a 4000lb 4 door.
To bad they couldn't make it awd.

It seemed Vegas_AMG jumped into the thread and just responded without reading first. My question about getting a proper burnout was obviously directed at the 2012 MCT's with LC.
We wont know until we see some on the track but from what I hear with other RWD launch controlled cars they dont perform well in the 1/4 due to not being able to heat up the drags.

I know you can spin the tires on street tires for sure and do a "Burnout" What do you think about doing it and keeping the car in place while your foot is on the break and really smoke them up?

Based on multiple personal experiences with the MCT that is found in 2009-2010 SL63s and 2010-2011 W212 E63s, the MCT was heating up extremely quickly causing a reduction in power and/or limp mode specifically when attempting to perform a long burnout with drag radials. I think the drag radials were applying too much torque load to the tranny's internals causing it to heat up. In addition, at the AMG Academy, the MCT in the W212 E63s and SL63s was going in limp mode after 2 to 3 laps in Manual mode at Laguna Seca... so not even in a drag race environment.
Please note though that the case maybe different for the MCT that is found in the new twin turbo applications (Mercedes may have beffed up the internals to handle the extra torque) As propain stated, we will only find out after many cars are sold and some owners take them to the track and report back.
