Oil Cooler Fan

And I pride myself on knowing everything about my cars.

There is a fan mounted on the oil cooler that is mounted on the passenger side, just behind the bumper. I just talked to my indy, and he said the fan is very quiet, so you might not heat it. And that he will look up the technical spec in ALLDATA, and let me know. I'm still awaiting a text from my AMG Master Tech. But the fan is there, take a look for yourself.

Plus I went to AMG academy and drove a c63 P31 like it was stollen and when I stopped the car everything was on at 264F
That's louder then the fan. When both are on at the same time u will only hear the trans cooler bc it's so loud.

Well, I learned something new today about the car, that I didn't know an hour ago.
I don't think that, I'll ever drive the car that hard to hear the oil cooler fan kick on.
Now that reminds me, when I was at the AMG Performance Drive in Monticello, you could hear all the fans going, because we literally drove the cars like we stole them.

Ask u friend if he can get any info.

My E63 just has cooling fins mounted on the rear diff, and my C63 doesn't have any cooling fins.
There isn't a whole lot of data on this car actually, besides from what Mercedes-AMG has already released.
