Who's got the biggest HP numbers to date?

Most HP with just boltons. No FI, No NOS.

List your setup and results please.

I am looking for the best combination of long tube headers, throttle body, intake and tune.

Anyone running the 82MM throttle body with headers and a tune? Is the throttle body worth the upgrade?

Would be jsp with the Weistec blower (along with Weistec heads, MBH headers, and Akrapovic rear exhaust) for the C63 platform pushing 630 RHWP on a DJ.

Who cares about dyno numbers? Those numbers can changed from so many different factors...I'd be more impressed with the track numbers than dyno numbers...

just my 2 cents...

Agreed, but just as many factors with track times.

Just line up on the same day on the same track and use the tree for reaction times. Otherwise its all BS.

Pretty impressive. I wonder how the tranny is holding up? I seen Renntech has a transmission upgrade for the C63 now.

However, I am looking for anyone that is running a tune, headers, 82mm throttle body and or air box upgrade.. I am interested in seeing the result and if the throttle body and/or air box is worth the upgrade $$?

I have the 510hp tune from Renntech now.. With headers that would put me around 570hp... 590 or even 600 from the throttle body and air box upgrade would be pretty impressive for just bolt ons...?

WOW this thread

Dodger and a few others have similar mods and are running low 11s, or even lower?? At the weight of the car, that's nearly 600hp.. So tell me what I am missing??

Are you buying a bolt in package? Are you asking advice on what to get?

i have to agree also to an extent. Tracks are just as bad as dynos
  • you have what time did you do your run
  • what was the weather (da, season and so on)
  • you have track prep
  • you have elevation
  • tier combo you are running (slicks, tier width, height ..etc)

and it can go on, all of which can really effect the outcome.

so I personally see comparing track data also to be taken with a grain of salt

It is fun.. Who said it wasn't?

If it wasn't fun or enjoyable I wouldn't be doing it.

Perhaps the throttle bodies on an N/A setup can net you 8-15 hp. But, I would be more interested in how the car drives with them installed.

I assume there are no drivability issues but I would look into that before I purchased them.

For those that have run the RT airboxes, does the car drive the same way with them installed? Same throttle response when using part throttle?

i said taken with a grain of salt...
lets take you as an example, you have 11.19@125.51 ///0-60 3.2///0-100 7.4///1.66 60

Now if i am to place you in any track around the world will you run the same?
is it possible that you could run much worse, or possibly better?
if you were to race on a normal street, could you achieve the same?

of course not because it all depends on many variables for both the dyno and the track, but none the less they are both good ways to see/ measure how fast your car is.

So long as you enjoy it, that's what matters. And i agree on the head to head is the best way for such sport, driver & his car
