I did have to bend the grounding terminal a bit to ensure it had adequate contact and tension to stay in place in the mirror mounting bracket.

not sure which red/black wire I used, but the V1 does shut off after a few minutes, or if I lock the car it shuts off right away. When I open the door, it activates the V1 before I start the car. probably got the map light wire.

Yeah, the Escort Redline. It is supposed to be even more sensitive than the 9500xi.
Decided against jammers for now (which is why I'm not doing an Escort 9500ci installation, since that comes with jammers by default).
Leaning towards SatinGuard. Easier to maintain.
Just wash, and every 6 months apply Dr. Beasley's matte sealant (while it's still wet!).
I'm going to be doing a few coats of sealant before the wrap, mostly because I'm not fond of naked clear coat being in contact with the adhesives used on the paint film.
