White out emblems..... and need a help!
During this Labor Day weekend, I decided to add some white touch to my white C63. I painted my emblems and license plate matte white, black out my front grille again, and painted exhaust tips satin black. What do you guys think? Am I crazy on the matte white emblems?
I need a spare set of wheels to put on my C63 so I can send my factory rims and calipers to powder coating. Can anyone help me out? I live in Southern California.

^^ ditto... not feeling the white emblems at all, go matte black... but the black grill, CF front lip & CF trunk spoiler flows nicely together.

I was planning to shave off all the emblems because I don't want it to be too stand out. I thought matte white emblems would blend into the body. It actually looks better at night.
Yeah, the tail lights do not look that good. I am planning to change it.

My opinion: I personally don't like it. I would probably paint it black. On the side emblems, I was thinking of painting the 6.3AMG black and everything else the car color so that part kind of blends in, but the 6.3AMG stands out. I asked the shop about it and they're saying it's a b1tch to do.

It is very easy to DIY. You will need a strong fish line to put out all the emblems except the star in the back. I unscrewed everything in the back of trunk and push out the star. DO NOT WASH the emblems if you want to paint it right the way because the moisture will cause uneven texture. I learned that the hard way. Clean the emblems with Denature Alcohol and a cloth and you can paint them right the way. I like to use Engine Enamel to paint all the chrome parts because it is heat resistance and it drys fast. I applied 4 light coats of paint then I applied 3 coats of Rust-Oleum Painter's matte clear coats for protection. Before painting the emblems, put on the 3M double sided tape in the back of the emblems because you have to spend quit sometimes to cut out the shape of each characters. You might scratch the paint if you do it afterward. When all the emblems are ready to put back on the car, use Denature Alcohol to clean surface. The whole process took me 5 hours and it was quit fun.
