I doubt it, but who knows if they want to enter the small sports cab market to rival with the M3 cab for instance.. Har do know however if BMW will introduce an M3 cab in their next model. As far as i know it hasn't been that much of a success?

First off, there needs to be a marketable need for Mercedes to build thus a car. And I really don't think there is currently a market for this car.

I cross-shopped the M3 and 911 convertibles, and it was a no brainer to go with the 911 based on performance, though the M3 does have a more usable back seat. I can see a place for a C63 vert in the market, though I think sales would be low, so it would be even more of a niche car than the C63 sedan/coupe.
But it would be interesting to hear how it sounds with the top down! If you've never done it, try driving your C63 with all windows down and the sunroof open. Crazy!

I personally prefer non convertible cars because they usually weigh less and the cars seem to be more rigid with a fixed top, but the wife would love a convertible. I thought a c63 convertible would be awesome. I feel that the C-class coupe would take the place of the CLK because the E-class coupe just seems too big for some reason.
