Orange side marker light question

I really dislike that orange light it ruins the car's beauty, but I don't want to replace it with the aftermarket white light. I'd like to just vinyl wrap carbon black over it

If I remove the light bulb inside and keep the orange cover on and just wrap over it, would the car display any errors. OR could I simply just wrap over the light and the vinyl would be able to block out the orange light?

Sorry for noob question and thanks for the help

Check EVOSPORT, they have what you want:

http://www.evosport.com/product/prod...VO.LTG.M04.PL1

However I dont see Calcite white, only Diamond white and arctic white...

You can always call them:

i get errors for replacing with led lights... so i'm assuming removing the light all together will probably give you an error as well... pretty much any light that goes out, the dash will let you know... but after you press the back button a few times, you can exit out of it...

covering it might work, but i'm not sure if the light will seep through the edge

I think w/ White, clear sidemarker looks so damn clean. Here is the pic from the DIY in w204 section

Also, I used LEDs from AZNoptics, no errors and looks really clean.

My Buddy Dislikes the Orange turn signals and replaced them on his C55 and his current car CLS63 with the clear ones.. Looks very clean. But when he Took his CLS for a Top Speed Run at about 125 MPH he heard a strange noise but kept going to 160 MPH. When he finally got home to check out what the promblem was. It was the Aftermarket turn signals and scratched up the whole left side of his bumper. Had to have it all repainted and buffed out. Only reason why i tell this story is to say maybe to keep the stocks ones because aftermarket ones dont always fit as well and may pop out...

well yeah i do want to keep the original light on and just wrap it for easy future removal if i dislike. And also because i want to wrap my roof and spoiler lip with carbon black, so it would be a good match.

I don't really want to get an aftermarket clear light because I dislike having a light on that part of the car

but like bluejae said the vinyl might not be able to cover the lights from the edges, so i think i ll just ask the vinyl shop or get the evosport bluejae showed. but i want carbon fiber black

Yes, If you remove the bulb you will get an error message.
I had mine painted at a body shop for $60, came out perfect.

You mean you painted the bulb and the orange cover? Or did you only paint the orange cover and the light is fully blocked out?

I have a white 63 w/ smoked sidemarkers.. And loving the look. But if u don't like the light, just have your body shop paint it with few layer of paint... The thicker the paint, the more it will block the light. I highly doubt CF vinyl will completely block the light from shining.

Found the answer to my own question by calling the parts manager at the dealer. The orange side markers are a slightly different size on the 2012 C63's from the 2011s. Would love to know when evosport will be offering the new size in the exterior colours... I would be first in line hahah

Is there a way to order the euro c63 front bumper? Would it fit or not? I find that even with a painted side marker cover it will still stand out with a bulge. I know you can find vendors with m3 euro bumpers, what about the c63? It would look a lot cleaner

Probably easier and cheaper to get a body shop to fill them in for you and respray the bumper.

Well that would not be great if that is what happens. May as well just get the clear or smoked side markers until you find a better solution. I don't know of any way except to contact a euro dealer and pay a big shipping fee. Have you considered a DTM bumper from Revozport? I'll bet you can get one without side markers. GL

Where does one get the after-market white lights? I would also like to get rid of my orange blinkers...
