Dont listen to the idiots at the dealer. They see that your trying to put a 2012 grille on a 2008/9/10/11 car and automatically say NO wont fit. The grille is identical to the current two bar. Only difference is the double bar, single bar.
Im sure once people start getting part numbers, we'll see how easy it will be to do the complete facelift, if wanted. The only real differnce is the hood, headlights. Fenders are the same, and where the bumper meets the headlights is the same. Im sure there may a few brackets, bolts, maybe wiring harness etc needed, but no major body work.
Only time will tell. I doubt the radiator support is different, so the headlights should bolt right in, if you also have the new hood, as this makes up for the different shape of the lights. There is also most likely gonna need some coding for the new headlights, and fogs, if you choose to do the bumper with LED fogs.
I plan on doing the headlights, and hood. Even though I don't really like the new hood. Its going to be needed to do the headlights.I dont like the new front bumper. The rear bumper, and tails have already been fitted to the pre 12 cars with minimal effort.
Just my thoughts dont attack me..

Yeah, you may be right - although I don't know why they wouldn't want to make some extra $?
Also - what kit did you use on your calipers? I was thinking of doing mine orange as well (mine's calcite white).

Well the 2012 wheel fits, and works. You have to change the wheel, airbag, and clock spring in the column. Im guessing you could put the older wheel ithe newer car, if you use the same older parts.

Done by a body shop. They take them off the car, and paint them like a normal part. Never had any problems on my E55 for over 20k miles. Most shops charge $500 to remove, paint, reinstall.

I am glad that made this topic because I was wondering the same thing. I also notice that the new C cla has the 3 dimensional star unlike the SL class which has a flat black star on the grill.
I am very interested on knowing as well.
