Sun Roof wont close without holding down button, but it will open with one touch...
Just got my car back from stereo shop about 45 mins ago and I know my battery was disconnected for part of the install, and in the past sometimes my windows didnt go up "automatically" but would go down (or vice versa). Is there a way to cycle through this for the sun roof, or do I just have to drive my car around for a while for it to "remember" to work?

Talk to the service advisor, I had a similar issue with the driver side window and my service advisor "walked me " through step by step over the phone and I was good to go in like 30 seconds.

If I recall correctly, all you have to do is hold the switch, open and close the roof 3 times and the one touch feature is operative again.

Close the window, and the keep holding the switch down for a while, and the open it and do it again, for about 3 times, and it show work properly again..
(I'm not saying it has to be 3 times but it worked for me whenever it happened to my windows or sunroof).

Yeah, this is something you can do yourself. Try the reset function. With the sunroof closed, pull downward on the switch (i.e. as if you are trying to close it from the up-tilted position) and hold it in that position for about 20 seconds. Eventually, the sunroof will tilt open fully and then you can release the switch. Now close it and it should be reset. Pretty much the same proceduyre for the windows. I believe this is in the owners manual.

Try this one.
1) Open or try to open your moonroof all the way. Once it is fully opened, push the moonroof button toward the rear passenger sit and hold it for a good 5 seconds then release.
2) Upon completion of step 1, close or try to close the moonroof all the way. Once the moonroof is fully closed, push the moonroof button toward the winshield and hold it for a good 5 seconds then release.
3) Upon completion of step 2, open or try to open the moonroof to the tilt up-ward position ( like a triangle /_ ). Once it is fully tilt, push the moonroof button up toward the sky and hold it for a good 5 seconds then release
For the windows:
from the driver side switch pod roll the window all the way down and keep button pressed for 5 seconds when the window is down. then roll the window all they way up and keep button pressed for 5 secs. the auto roll up/down should start working then

I think the issue I have is related to the motor for the sunroof, because when it goes back automatically, there are no issues. But when you try to "one touch" it so it moves forward, the above cabin lights flicker a little and the roof keeps hesitating when it closes; meaning that, it doesnt close smoothly, but kind of like the sound a roller coaster makes when it goes over the tracks on the start of its incline.

I have found a recent intermittent problem with mine as well. When I one-touch close it, it almost closes, then retracts. I think it's the rubber accordeon looking things that are jamming somehow. I'm not sure if this is the same problem you're having. The YT video was taken down.
