Expensive 63 model, 2 pistons were gone right after tuning, papers and docs were submitted to Fluid.

I'm going to keep that part of it above board, I will not be posting personal info publicly, it will be handed over to FMU and they can do with it as they wish. I assume they will want to take legal action and I don't want to jepordize enthing by posting the info or letting the OP know that he has been outed.

I think most of you guys know that I am outspoken and don't have a problem outing bad vendors or product but I would never condone someone making false accusations. I feel sorry for FMUU since it now appears they have not done anything wrong and have done everything right under the circumstances.

Totally agree with you here and on your previous posts. I have never purchased a thing from FMU nor had I ever really considered it. But I got to tell you, they way they handled themselves here deserves alot of credit. This kid is a total dousche bag and that is cleat. I just PM'ed Adrian at Internet Brands and asked him to look at the thread and delete it. It's a shame when a guy that just opened his MB World account less than a week ago can come on here and slam a longtime paying sponsor with little or no facts.

Like I said before, I am all for calling out a bad vendor/company/product, I believe these forums are here for the consumer and it's our responsibility as consumers to inform other enthusiests about both the good and bad companys/products that are out there but in my opinion the OP Tyson has zero credibility. Now had these claims been made by a longtime member I would have taken them a bit more seriously, however the OP's refusal to post any proof should be a HUGE red flag to any and all who read his posts. It would take nothing more than a simple posting of a bill of sale or sales invoice from FMU showing he did purchase a tune from them to get everyone on his side, however he can't even produce that. It is clearly just an attempt to smear a company's name in public. The funny part is that in my eyes the OP has made FMU come out smelling like roses, FMU didnt run and hide, they addressed the OP, tried to get more info from him, tried to ID him through all their records and even went so far as to contact every 63 customer that they have done a tune on to make sure nobody's motor popped and then posted in public that if the claims were indeed legit they would cover the costs of repair or replacement.


Everyone contact Internet Brands and request this thread be DELETED and Tyson banned

I just wanted to hop back on here and thank you guys for the support. This thread has actually been an experience we've learned a lot from.

Although this thread is fine for now, the "other" forum's posting seems to be getting uglier and I don't know if I have the energy to continue this fight. We're waiting for evidence to come in so we can better piece together whatever might have happened. We've had our own bad experiences with companies we were dealers for in relation to tuning, and ever since then, we've vowed to become a different company and not do the things that were done to us.

Banter isn't what we're looking to create. That can turn ugly quickly, and nobody deserves to get the **** kicked out of them, especially since no waves have been made anywhere but the internet yet.

We haven't been given anything yet, but since the OP has promised that we'll be contacted, we're patiently waiting for anything that may come of it.

What concerns us most is the feeling the main point of this post is to tarnish our name, and hurt our search engine ranking. Restitution, for this claim, real or not seems to be secondary. While certain members of this and other boards state that we're not a "big player" in the M-B tuning world, we feel that we are a major source for repair and maintenance in the Chicagoland area. In fact, the service side of our shop is what keeps the payroll moving and puts food on the table for everyone here. Now, some person looking to get their oil changed somewhere is going to Google around and see this come up. While this may be good PR for our business, it's certainly not going to sway somebody who's just quickly scouring the internet for suggestions on getting routine maintenance done.
