No... they just swaped the rims. It was a task already convincing them I deserve the swap let alone asking for new tires . I just thoroughly checked and they did an awesome job. I wish I could keep the single spokes but they said it has to go back to Germany.

There both nice rims, the older rims looked more aggressive. Are you thinking of gettin bigger wheels and a little drop with spacers ? (OEM)

Yes, both rims have each there own personality. :-)! Eventually I would like to play with suspension, geometry and looks. I just dont like messing with AMG technology for now, such a great car as it is. Unlike my EVO X. I'm clearing all curves humps and all other road obscurities without being too careful and it's a good feeling. So dropping the car is not on my top of the list. Although I foresee it happening in a couple years. A tint, blackened corner lights and fatter grippier tires is in my list.

I like those twin spoke '12 rims, but unfortunately they're only 18" aren't they?
Our C63 will be delivered with the 19" multispoke rims which come with the P.P......but I'm not sure I like them, however I didn't have much of a choice as I wanted 19"......had your rims been available in 19", I would've specified them for sure.......especially for ease of cleaning inner rims & calipers!
Cheers, Pickles.

Pickles, I like the 19" multi-spokes as well. Just did not tought of it at time of purchase. I don't know how much more it adds to get em without p31 but I'm thinking comparable or better aftermarket wheels is a possibility in the future in my case. Did you order a coupe or sedan?
I have not driven my c63 for three days now and I'm having withdrawal symptoms like constantly shaking my throttle (right) leg and lead foot.

Wheels dont change with P31...you either get the standard 5 spokes or the new twin spokes, whatever your window sticker says.
Bring up a good point, wonder if I can get the 19's into the deal...what price thru the dealer?

The AMG Performance Media (255)... is that only for the black series or can you order that with any AMG car? I thought it would be neat to have.

Hello again from Aus.
We have ordered a sedan, with P.P., L.S.D. & Comfort Package.
It appears that the Aussie cars have some items standard, which are optional in other markets. There are of course two version of the multi-spoke wheels....the polished alloy finish version & the black versions....the former comes standard with the P.P. in Aus, but the black versions are around $1600 extra. For the 2010 car, there was no extra charge for either of these wheels, so I'm at a loss to know why they've now slapped an extra cost on the black version.......maybe to simply get rid of surplus stock of the polished items?
Anyway, I do think the C63 looks better on 19s....fills out the guards better IMHO, I prefer original equipment, so that's why I went for these wheels.
Cheers, Pickles.

Twin 5 spokes look awesome (I know!) Congrats on convincing the dealer. I noticed a few people received their 2012s with the single spoke and really felt bad for them. Hopefully they can have similar luck if they wish.

Yes looks much better in person. I want to take better pics this weekend. Either way it would have been okey for me to keep the old one as well. But MBUSA did the right thing and made it happen. It feels slightly lighter than the Single spoke. I think it's lighter weight. Anyone know of true specs between the two wheels?

Izzy,
great looking car, I really like the Carbon Interior. Finishes the inside off nicely.
The red is a little much for me, either wheel looks great. Glad to see you got what you wanted with regards to the wheels.

"Izzy" & MV".....I'm originally English. "Pickles" was the name given to me by my Aussie school mates when I arrived in Australia from the UK, many many years ago.
There was a daily radio program titled "Greenbottle" about a school class.....in this program, a new pupil arrived whose name was Pickles.....so that's the name they gave me......I'm still known by that name, by my old school mates!
Cheers, "Pickles".

I just notice a pen, coin, and business card holder behind the glove compartment door, cool! Is this new for 2012 models?

The interior of your car is the best I've seen in a C63. especially when matched with the black exterior. for 18 inch rims, I personally think the single spoke stars look better than the double spoke. That being said, I would have done exactly, as you did and trade out your single spokes for the "newer" twin spokes for the simple reason that this is how your 2012 Sedan should have been ordered in the first place (as according to the window sticker).

I do think my interior is awesome thanks. And I totally agree with you regarding the wheels. For some reason, the newer twin spokes look lame in pictures but they do look nice in person and the older one looks unique and aggressive among others. But in all honesty, for me they are not significantly better than the other. I look at them in detail and I appreciate the little things like the double line on the twin spokes lip. And as you said it, it is what should have came with the car and I like the fact that it helps separate it from the 2011 and previous model year. Being they are still both 18" rims, I think c63's should have come with at least 19" wheels as standard.
